高級套房房間還是足夠大的，可以2大2小，今年整理餐廳、遊樂場、游泳池都檢查很嚴格，往年都沒人管，氣氛略顯緊張，但是環境設施還是一如既往的好，孩子玩的開心，每晚自助餐還是各國風情主題自助，距離郵輪渡口很近去蒂豪尼方便。

The hotel is quite nice but definitely not 5* hotel. We have a junior suite with a view. Room is nice but there is no dishes and they did not changed our dirt sheet in three days, they took our small towels, but did not give new. The treasure hunt for Halloween was disaster, not enough sweets and kids were so disappointed. Should be improved.

We booked the biggest suite (deluxe) and paid the entire amount 6months before the arrival but the hotel booked a smaller one. They could not change to the original size and paid only the gap among the room rates even if 6 month before payment. The compensation not transferred yet even if one week after check out, and 3 reminder mails to the front office management.

Injury on the Waterslide – No Acknowledgement from Hotel Management Review text: I stayed at the Mövenpick BalaLand Resort at Lake Balaton in early June 2025 with my family. Unfortunately, I was injured while using the red waterslide at the hotel’s water park. My hand slipped badly due to what appeared to be a surface or design issue. I immediately informed the hotel staff and later sent a written report to the management. On June 6th, the slide was no longer operational, possibly due to maintenance. Despite this, the hotel director later denied that the incident was caused by any issue with the slide or that it was related to safety concerns. This experience was physically and emotionally difficult, especially since I had expected higher safety standards and a more responsible reaction from a hotel under the Accor brand. I am sharing this experience solely to inform other families and travelers. I hope safety standards will be reviewed more seriously in the future. This post reflects my personal experience and opinion only.

A dirty hotel, with a shameful level of cleanliness. Unfresh food that gave my wife an upset stomach, and a very poor level of service. The gym there is dirty, and the facilities are contaminated with dirt. The staff are not nice and I recommend that you do not go near the hotel.

"I'd like to talk about my experience at the Mövenpick BalaLand Resort. I stayed for 4 nights, from March 31, 2025, to April 4, 2025, in a suite facing the street. The suite was spacious and nice, the hotel facilities are new, and the kids loved them. The service was far from 5 stars. To begin with, upon arrival, if I hadn't asked for help from the staff, I would have had to carry 4 suitcases and two strollers to the room by myself. Breakfast was mediocre, dinner was not good, they do you a favor when they put a main course on your plate. There are no drinks at dinner, even if you want water it's at an extra cost, so we learned to bring our own water from the room. A 5-star hotel must have water coolers in every corner for free drinking water, the hotel doesn't have that. To buy water at the hotel, a bottle costs 2000 Hungarian Forints. At the restaurant in the water park, we ordered food, and in the meantime, the kids asked for chips, so I opened a bag we bought at the supermarket. An employee named Peter approached us and asked us not to eat them in the restaurant, claiming that if we wanted chips, we could buy them from them, and rudely said either we go outside to eat or not eat at all. I felt like a student being scolded by a teacher, not like a guest at a 5-star hotel. On our first day at the water park, I went down a slide with my son, a lifeguard approached me and asked me not to use the slides, that they're only for children and adults are not allowed. So, be aware, anyone coming to the hotel, the slides are for children only. Room cleaning was basic and not thorough, once we found a dirty towel with lipstick folded with the clean towels. The rooms are not soundproof, you can hear noise from all around, imagine a room above you with kids who don't go to sleep early, playing past midnight. There's no air conditioning in the room, one day it was hot and I couldn't sleep, and the whole bed was sweaty, both me and my wife. To add to that, after 7 PM there's nothing to do, they close the gymboree, turn off the lights outside, and only the kids' club remains, maybe 60 square meters with all the hotel's kids. And at check-out, I asked for a late check-out, they asked for 100 Euros. I told them I'm entitled to it for free, it's one of my benefits as an All Accor Silver member, they told me it's not possible, the hotel is fully booked on the check-out day. I went into the app as if to book a new room for the night, and there were rooms available, they seemed like liars and didn't apologize, and if I hadn't insisted, they wouldn't have let me stay at the hotel. After check-out, my wife and I carried 2 strollers with kids and 4 suitcases to a taxi in the parking lot without help from the hotel staff who were watching us. The hotel is not worth the price and needs a lot of improvement, especially in service. I would not recommend it from personal experience and after many trips to All Accor hotels around the world."
