Seafarer Inn and Cottages

Awful awful Awful communication. It cost $16 to even make a reservation - I had to cancel due to unexpected change of plans with my kids - I cancelled over a week before my one night reservation and they wouldn’t refund me any money - literally over $200 gone and all the dude said over the phone was that “we are a family run business”. So this single mom is out $200 while they got double booking that night. Never heard of anything so shockingly unprofessional.

What a dump. Old, unheated cottages missing the most basic of "amenities" like heat, window coverings, soap, trash can liners, ugh. Guy who checked me in brought an old, funky space heater when requested, then told me it would heat up the whole place because it was "insulated", uh, no it didn't. Slept in three layers of clothing clutching my small, personal heating pad. Had to use the bed pillows, one of 2 towels provided. Was told the next morning my room was warmer than outside, so it must be warm. Treated like I was lucky to have gotten what I did.
