Fantastic hotel. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Hotel beautifully decorated in a luxurious, elegant style and everywhere spotlessly clean. We had booked a triple room for me, my husband and adult son but when the owner saw our ages she gave us a suite with a double room and a single room with a shared bathroom . This was really kind and very much appreciated. There is an excellent restaurant - meals were of a very high quality with plenty of choice. For a pre, or post, dinner drink there is a comfortable lounge bar. There is also a swimming pool and sauna which is free to guests. The hotel is situated in the centre of Saalbach so it is just a short walk to the lifts. Recommend the Berger's Sporthotel and hope to return.

Had a fantastic time, yet again, at the Berger's Sporthotel. The junior suite was very comfortable and turned over to a very good standard each day. The choice and quality of the breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Staff were most helpful with nothing being too much trouble. Will definitely be back!!! and my sincere thanks to Mrs Berger and her team for a most enjoyable stay.

A real nice alp-hotel with very friendly and serviceminded personel (Hello Fernando!). The single room was very small, but functional. Three of us chared a bigger room and it worked fine to stay three adults in the same room. Big balcony! Its not a luxury hotel, more like old-fashion, but is is very charming. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. Big saladsbar and a fantastic cheece-tray every day. There was three maincourses every night: meat, fish and a vegetarian choice. Icecream and cookies as dessert. The hotel is located in the middle of Saalbach, close to lifts, close to supermarket and close to bars and restaurants. Nice pool and sauna area with possibility to massage. There is a ski-storage downstairs, very crowded of course, beacause everyone wants to go out in the same time. Terrible smell of foot sweat in the ski-storage! We are overall very happy with our stay! And of course grateful of the sunny wheather for a whole week!

Had the best week here with our boys.. Loved the hotel, beautifully kept history if you love some nostalgia.. Staff were all amazing and looked after us. Perfect location and good food. Highly recommend. Thank you for looking after us xxxxx

lovely staff and homely hotel. Special thanks to the man in the lobby who helped me a lot and was very friendly. I was alone having a very difficult day and wanted to get home right away. he helped me plan my trip to munich to get me safe home back to iceland. Thank you

Our third year staying at the Berger's Sporthotel. This charming family run retro Hotel is just great, the staff are warm and friendly and greeted us like old friends when we arrived, most of them were here when we first visited three years ago and it was a pleasure to find them still working here! The food is lovely, generous and varied, with a choice of three main courses each day. The choice of salad starters is amazing, and the desserts and cheese board too tempting to resist. Breakfast is a self service buffet with everything you could ever wish for, to start the day! Our rooms were clean and welcoming, and serviced every day. The swimming pool is a great way to ease the aches and pains of the day's skiing, and the spa area with sauna and steam room a relaxing treat. All of which is included in the price of the room. We will definitely be back next year!
