There is a keyless entry with a preassigned entry code. As you walk in, you are greeted by a woodburning fireplace that leads to an open space layout. In the main floor you will find one bedroom and a full bathroom. In the living room there is a 55' smart TV with an Amazon fire stick, to enjoy shows and movies. As you make your way to the bottom level, you will find half a bathroom along with two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has been converted into a game room with a full-size futon. The second bedroom offers a dedicated workspace in case you need to get work done. Note, light construction to the East side of the cabin. Power outages, while infrequent, can occur in this region. This home is not equipped with a backup generator at the moment. We recommend guests come prepared with firewood and other essentials for comfort during unexpected interruptions. The main level (which is elderly-friendly because of the main floor entry with only one step from the level driveway) has 2 bedrooms and full bath, kitchen, dining area and living room. Description of main floor: Bedroom #2 has a California King-size bed.Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed. The full Bathroom #2 has Jacuzzi bathtub #2 and dual shower heads. The entire main floor has new, genuine Hickory hardwood floors with brand-new furniture and Knotty Alder wood cabinets in the kitchen which is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishware, spices, and a basic pantry. The living room has a wood-burning brick fireplace. Bask in cheery sunshine and beautiful sunsets through the huge windows with views through the trees. It feels like you're in a treehouse! From the main floor, downstairs is Bedroom #4 with a double bed, and Bathroom #3, a half bath, and a game room with bunk beds (a queen bed on bottom and a twin on top. This home is super easy to get to, even during the snow season, with no long, narrow, steep, dangerous roads to travel. It is only several homes away from Highway 18, and is normally one of the first streets plowed after snowfall. Let the family sleep in and walk 1 minute to LuluBelle's Coffee House and Bakery and bring back amazing coffee, bakery items and breakfast sandwiches! The cafe also has an EV charger.1-minute drive to the village of Running Springs with a full grocery store and fresh-cut meat department. Or take a 2-minute walk to the Village Market on Hwy 18 grocery items, liquor, etc. An oversized smart washer and oversized smart dryer for your use. We only charge the guest $45 for the cleaning, but we pay $285 per stay for cleaning because we use the best cleaning service on the mountain comprised of professional cleaners who use the highest enhanced cleaning standards available, sanitizing every touched surface in the home, so you know you are staying in the cleanest home on the mountain. 4 fire extinguishers, two first aid kits, and one brand-new choking hazard removal kit, made especially for children. The living space extends from the kitchen to the dining area to the living room. The cabin includes plenty of parking with 4 spaces between two driveways. The home is accessible with only a few stairs (hard to find in the area), so it is safe for children and individuals that need easy access to the cabin.The Space:On the main level are two spacious bedrooms with two king beds. Upstairs is the bedroom loft with two singles. The Glassell Haus can accommodate 6 guests comfortably. There are two bathrooms, one with a tub (family friendly). The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and is fully loaded with everything you need to cook a meal for your friends, family, and guests. It is also stocked with everything for your morning coffee at the dedicated coffee/tea station. The open layout connects the kitchen to the dining space to a sunken living room. Cozy up next to the wood burning fireplace with a good movie. The Glassell Haus includes all the modern amenities we all love, including keyless entry, fast WiFi, a flatscreen TV (access to Netflix and apps), and central heating. Flat parking and very few stairs (4 stairs at the entrance of deck) to access the cabin. This is particularly nice in the winter, when there is ice and snow, and things are slippery.
