What an amazing place. We stayed for three nights with friends and family to celebrate a 60th birthday. The accommodation is outstanding - so clean, comfortable, welcoming. The pool is perfect - and there are great views extending out to the local hills. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay and the food we ate while we were there was beyond belief. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, perfectly cooked and supremely tasty. I would stay here again any time - it's perfect for a solo trip as well as if you want to gather with friends and family. We danced into the small hours of the morning and then feasted beneath the vines. I loved it here. If you're lucky, you'll get to stay here too one day.

I stayed at the wonderful 'The Hotel Rural el Molino de Felipe' for 5 nights to celebrate the birthday of my dear friend Trevor, I think there were about 50 of us coming from many parts of the world to be together. Everything about the hotel was remarkable, clean spacious rooms, friendly and very helpful staff and the pool which was always refreshing with plenty of space, beds and towels for us all to congregate and enjoy. We were also very happy to eat the food cooked by the brother of our friend Andrea, he lives in the nearby village of Mula. What a delight it was, he surprised us day and night using traditional ingredients sourced locally, He cooked infant of us with great skill 2 massive Paella's a fish and a vegetarian one, they were outstanding quality. he also organised for his friend Carlos to come and slice 2 huge Iberia hams for us all. I fully recommend this beautiful retreat Hotel to my friends and colleagues. Thank you Thank you to the very patient owners Alonso and Paaqui and all.

I liked the hotel a great deal and will certainly stay here again. The room was clean and spacious. A great shower in the bathroom. The fridge is well stocked with wine, beer, soft drinks etc. There is nothing to dislike about the place. I did not have a car and walked to the main road about twenty minutes away to catch the bus to Mula and Murcia which runs once an hour. The rooms are lovely and setting is wonderful. I was there a bit too early to go into the pool and as I was visiting friends I did not have the breakfast. It is not a fully functioning hotel as the restaurant and bar have been closed since the pandemic. The Wi-Fi was excellent.

The rooms are delightful and setting in the middle of the countryside with great views. It is very clean. Lovely shower. Nice to find a hotel in Spain with a kettle. The fridge was well stocked with drinks. I did not have the opportunity to have breakfast as I was visiting friends. I would most certainly stay there again.

Lovely, large, modern and bright rooms. We had a room on the ground floor with a large terrace, which was wonderful. The pool is clean and huge, lovely area to relax. Breakfast was very continental but quite ok. The location is very remote and there's not much around. The closest restaurants closed at random hours. What I didn't like about the place is that it really felt like a self-catering accommodation (which we were not looking for). There's no other services except for breakfast and cleaning. You can't order anything or eat or drink and nobody speaks English. Unfortunately, we expected a hotel with at least some services.

A bit of mixed feelings about this place. The positives: beautiful place surrounded by hills, nature and gardens. The hotel itself is also beautiful, well kept and very tidy. Beautiful pool area and the rooms (we had one with a terrace/patio) are also beautiful, modern and spacious. Very quiet area. The negatives: We chose a hotel and not self-catered accommodation because we like to use different services at hotels. Here there were basically none. The breakfast was very simple and the cleaning was done well. There was a minibar but that’s about it. Staff doesn’t speak English so you’re pretty much on your own. There were some restaurants nearby that were sometimes open but mostly were closed in the evenings. We like peaceful and remote but this was a bit too quiet, I guess. A bit of a hassle when you want to eat etc.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Budget price for a high class hotel.
