Sauber, idyllische Lage, Möglichkeit direkt am Fluss entlangzujoggen, sehr freundliches Personal - würde wieder kommen!

We were very warmly welcomed and made to feel at home straight away. On a walk, our bags were already in our rooms which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the tea and coffee available in the lounge at any time. We were given a restaurant recommendation and this was great, a beautiful setting! Slept really well, no noise at all. Breakfast was lovely and there was an option to purchase food to take away for the day. Lovely place!

Did everything we wanted, the staff were excellent.

Really recommend this lovely family run place. We received such a warm welcome. We were on a hiking tour with luggage transfer and so appreciated arriving after a long days hiking to be advised our luggage had already been placed in our room on 2nd floor (in all other places we stayed we had to lug it upstairs ourselves) it's really the little things! Very clean and comfortable (recently renovated) and had a very warm homely feel. Slightly outside town centre meant peace and quiet. Right by a lovely river too. Got great recommendation for dinner at nearby restaurant with fantastic views (5mins walk from hotel uphill). Breakfast fantastic. We liked the relaxation room with kettle, tea and coffee etc and snacks and drinks available. Would love to stay again one day.

We spontaneously decided for a short vacation (three nights) in the middle of March off-season. This hotel was the perfect choice: The host was very welcoming and our room was very comfortable. Tea and (instant) coffee is available 24/7, plus they have a small buffet of snacks and a fridge stocked with beer, wine and other beverages for a fair price (which was perfect for us the first night, because it was pouring rain and we did not feel like going out). The breakfast spread is excellent- they have a great choice (and delicious fresh coffee). The hotel has a nice out-door sitting area, which would be perfect for families and friends getting together in the summertime The Alte Säge is a short walk to town where there are some nice restaurants, and just a 10-minute walk from the Brander Alm-- delicious food and great view. Overall, it is a really nice place for a vacation. Thank-you!

Now, my girlfriend and I found this little jewel hotel on *********** and reserved a room for a vacation in June.2022. I will rate this hotel in parts below, so that it is more clear: 1) Hotel and the location: This is a family run hotel, which, in this case, unfortunately means there is no permanent staff available at the hotel. The hosts are ALWAYS available, but in the afternoon one has to call in order to reach them. We had few such cases and hosts were ALWAYS available and quick to assist. Absolutely 5-star service in that regard. Location in Ruhpolding is, in my opinion - spectacular. In non crowded residential area, between the mountain and the small clear brook. Although near the scarcely used road - it was so quiet that we enjoyed it very much. 2) Arrival and check-in: Since we arrived rather late in the evening, we had called ahead to agree on check-in procedure. Despite somewhat "crude" arrangements, it was one of the simplest check-ins we had ever experienced. No fuss, no issues, just the simplest moving-in with our luggage. We liked the simplicity very much. Specially since hotel was indeed VERY CLEAN and we had no objections to anything. 3) Cleanliness: The hotel is SUPERCLEAN. And I mean - EVERYTHING is clean. From Bathrooms (which is the most important), to top of the wardrobes and doors and not to mention floors. Everything was SQUEAKY clean. We as guests had an immediate feeling of coziness and enjoyed our room from the very first moment. 4) Room: Our room was in the attic and was a bit smaller (but not small) due to roof slopes. However, it was still quite large and we had no issues whatsoever. Bathroom was appropriately big and two of us had no problem occupying it at the same time. We had the luck of having our own balcony from which we could see the mountains and the clear brook - and that was - beautiful. (Some rooms have access to common balcony, so there is no lack of balcony space for each and everyone.) Amenities in the room were decent and plenty. From various soaps and shampoos, hair dryer and other useful stuff (forgive me, but as a bald male, I rarely use the shower cap :). The sheets were just as everything else - crisp clean and the bed was indeed - very comfortable. Although under the roof, the room was, even on hot days - rather comfortable (temperaturewise). In the evenings, the mountain air would cool things even more, so the sleeping was a real pleasure. The balcony was traditional wooden Bavarian balcony and we enjoyed it very much. Be it for the morning coffee or evening beer - it was quite the thing. All in all - we know there are other rooms in the hotel, but we quite liked our room and if we come back - we will ask the hosts for the same one. 5) Parking: Usually sufficient parking space on hotel Parking in front. Even if there would not be - it is possible to park somewhere (max. 10 meters away). We ourselves did not experience any problems. 6) Breakfast: Since hotel is not run throughout
