The interior of the superior studio cabin had a new/fresh/modern feel about it and it was good to see some decoration with bright canvas photos, as so many cabins are bland and drab. Pricing at $220 for the night was probably a bit too much, but then again expected for Roxby since you only have two options there if you aren’t caravanning!! Late checkin was simple and it happened exactly as arranged. We received our code on the day by about 11am! Only two disadvantages - a very noisy aircon plus the shower is pretty small, and even for a smaller person it’s easy to keep knocking into edges of the dispensers and the shower rack.

Initial hiccup with the booking as we had booked a room with a double and two twin beds and instead were given a room with 2 doubles. However we contacted the staff on arrival which was outside of routine hours and they responded promptly and fixed the problem.

I enjoyed my stay, it was clean and comfortable, quick, and easy check in. Would of been nice if there was more milk for coffees, but really nothing to complain about.

Make sure you get full details before you arrive When we arrived for the 2pm check in the office was closed. We found 2 after hours numbers on the front of the office and both went to voice mail which was never answered. They never responded to us. We thought we may have to leave the town as there was no where else to stay. We went into town asking about who could help us. No one knew. we asked people back at the park until finally after 4 hours we found a person who went to the Afterhours lock box and was able to get an envelope out for us with his code. He said you should have been texted or sent a code. We were not sent a code. I told the girl at the front desk the next day, but she just said the same thing and didn't seem to be interested that we were locked out with no accommodation for about 4 hours of arrival. Our daughters moved into one room as the other said they went to plug in their tab and found lots of crumbs under the bed with ants. Also had a dirty cup and a few other dirty areas. We washed kitchen ware before and after use. Sorry just being honest.

Liked the security and cleanliness. Nothing to complain about

We booked into this park for two nights. We were advised that there were two areas we could use - at the top of the park and if you wanted to use the laundry it was free or down towards the back of the park used for camping - you pay for laundry if using this spot. We decided to go down the back of the park as it was quieter away from the road and had a nice outlook and birdlife. As there was only one other van in the 5 caravan spots allocated we moved over so not to be on top of the them. We enjoyed a great night. Facilities at this end of the park leave a bit to be desired as the toilet and shower cubicles are very small and there really is nowhere to dress after your shower. Enjoyed a day exploring the area to return to find another caravanner parked right next to our van to the point we could hear him chewing his food as he sat about 2ft from our van windows which we had to close plus the blinds. I realise this is not anything the park staff can do anything about but with 5 spots to select from why put someone right next to another customer. As the noise and behaviour became a little intolerable, we were advised we could move to another spot or we could make a lot of noise, turn up the tele or radio, so we packed up rehitched and move to the front of the park. Interestingly, the facilities here are lovely, very spacious and great cubicles. Yes sounds like a little thing but our experience was dampened - if the park had been full then yes you know you will be next to other campers. After moving into a new spot the next caravan that arrived was put next to us with admittedly a little bit of a gap between this time. It is the little things that make a place memorable and one you would not recommend.
