This hotel is in a good location, with the shops, restaurant and bus stops all within a short walking distance. The suite was great - we had an entrance hall area with massive mirror and clothes rail, the bedroom, kitchen, lounge and bathroom with sauna. It was clean and tidy and the kitchen was fully equipped. Everything worked. It is mainly unmanned and we didn't see many staff. They send you a code for the main door and a code for a keysafe to get your room key and this worked ok. You can leave you luggage 'under the stairs' if you arrive early; although this isn't technically a secure area, you can only get into the hotel if you have the code. Would definitely recommend.

It was clean and quiet location. I almost thought we were the only ones staying there. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They made sure that our stay was great. Gave us recommendations for dining and getting around. We were glad they provided outer gear for attending our excursions. We were not disappointed in our excursions. It is conveniently located, not more than a 5 min walk to anywhere downtown. Being from Canada and larger spaces, we were not expecting small space and beds, but it didn't take away from our vacation. Breakfast was great, if only i had been awake earlier to enjoy it instead of rushing to eat. I'm glad they provided transportation from the airport and to the train station (one less thing for me to worry about). I had a worry and stress-free vacation in Rovaniemi, thanks to Golden Circle Suites.

Location is very good in the center. Suite was spacious with beautiful decoration. We liked especially art from Lapland. There was a nice small dressing room next to bathroom and sauna. Balcony is good in summertime. Tea selection was excellent. Hotel was very quiet in this time. We really enjoyed our vacation.

Never arrange a transfer from the airport to the hotel by Golden Circle Suites. You will pay 4 times the normal price. When we mentioned it at the reception and asked them if it wasn't a mistake (we were with 4 persons and paid 120€ instead of 30€ and the normal price for 4 persons is 30€ total price) they just found it normal because it was a "private" transfer as they said. We realy dont know what the difference is with a normal taxi. The breakfast in the hostel nearby is also very poor and basic. The hotel will recommend this place but there are much better places for breakfast than that in Ronaniemi. The location of the hotel is perfect and the rooms are big and the sauna is also very nice.

Excellent value, centrally located and well appointed. But what makes this place stand out is the staff. A fantastic helpful team who really do everything to help organise and accommodate changes and requests. Everything in the area is easily accessible but local knowledge is super helpful! We had a nightmare with passports outbound from UK, so had to replan but the team here helped sort everything and it really has been the most magical trip.

The hotel building seems pretty old, but it has been renovated to look newer and stylish. In reality the building's HVAC systems and other systems seem to not have been touched at all and they are insufficient. As we entered our own suite, we noticed that the air was vey bad and the temperature very high. The room temperature was 31 C (88 F) degrees. We called the customer service and complained and asked for a refund about the bad and hot air. The only reply we got was "The other nearby hotels don't have a proper AC either". We didn't get any refund for the three nights we had booked. The location is perfect and booking went great. Sadly a location can't fix a poor building. In the end we left the hotel and booked another hotel nearby that had a proper AC.
