挺好的也乾淨

So I booked at this hostel for the weekend because I wanted to explore Rotterdam. It is my first time here. I arrived around 5am and sat at reception till check which is at 3. I had paid around 5am when I got here. Only at check in when they explaining the rules do I get told that there's no hot water and they don't know know when the issue will be fixed. The water was freezing cold so I asked to check out. The lady who had checked me in told me I can get cash or the money can be put back in my card, but when I asked for the cash back I was told they can only put it back in my card but I must first write an email requesting a refund which will take days to get paid back. So what do I do in the interim? Where am I supposed to stay? What am I supposed to pay with? They didn't care instead they got hostile, with a guy called Lawrence getting aggressive threatening to call the police which he did and this was after he assaulted me. Lawrence from King Kong put his hands on me. I'm not used to aggression. I can't even deal with a man shouting at me let alone putting his hands on me. As I type this im traumatised, holding back tears, sitting at some restaurant while trying to think of where to go and what to do. I travelled to the Netherlands, it's my first time in Rotterdam. I don't know anyone here or anything besides how to get back to Centraal station. My weekend has been ruined, I was so excited to finally come Rotterdam and also visit the Netherlands but now I regret it. They had ample time to inform us of the issue but they chose not to but instead wait until you've paid to tell you... We don't have hot water, deal with it. You ask for a refund... Oh, this is how that refund will happen. DEAL WITH IT!! Then we'll get aggressive and put hands on you because now you must leave because we told you to deal with it but you don't want to... GBV... If I was a man, of his same strength or above would he have behaved in the manner that he did? GBV starts and shows as signs like this before it escalates. Lawrence of King Kong is an aggressive and violent man who knows no gender bounds in fact as a female you're easy prey for his masculine body. The fact that a man can talk to a woman like that, even have the audacity to put his hands on a woman in full view of everyone that says a lot and King Kong has him as some sort of manager/supervisor /in charge...

A very safe and clean hostel with a good vibe. The rooms were cool and the lockers underneath the bed were big enough to fit everything you are travelling with. However there is no breakfast and the beds are pretty hard. Checkout is at 11. I would call this a very average hostel.

Very well located within Rotterdam Central area. The area is a little busy and noisy because of all of the bars around, however it made it convenient when looking for a place to eat, etc. Museums, parks, and transportation are all within walking distance. Staff is young, dynamic, and always super friendly and helpful. We were two adults travelling and we enjoyed our stay.

L'accueil est sympa dans cet hostel. Le staff est cool et les prix sont corrects. C'est propre, la literie est bien. La cuisine est grande et vous pouvez l'utiliser à n'importe quel moment. L'hostel est dans une rue animée donc faites attention car il y a du bruit la nuit sinon mettez des boules quies. Bon rapport/qualité prix. Je recommande.

Gezellig hostel, laagdrempelige binnenkomst met fijne sfeer en prachtig koffie machine De.koffie smaakt net zo lekker als de koffiemachine lijkt te beloven Evt damesdorm beschikbaar. Klein terras buiten, zitgedeelte knus en overal stopcontacten voor telefoon of laptop.

Ik bleef over een weekend met de King Kong Hostel terwijl ik op vakantie was. De receptionist Wouter was zeer vriendelijk tijdens het inchecken - ik wil hem hartelijk bedanken voor zijn geduld met mijn slecht Nederlands! De kamer was schoon en ik voelde me veilig. Helaas kan ik niet 5* geven - de kamer was redelijk warm en buiten was de straat luid. Het stopcontact in de doos onder het bed werkt niet, en de gedeelte WC in de gang had geen gootsteen vlakbij! Ik zou zeker hier weer blijven

Begin oktober boekten we met onze vocal group dit hostel. We werden erg gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen in dit geweldig trendy hostel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel dat goed meedacht (vb over mogelijkheden voor ontbijt). Savonds erg genoten van een fijne sfeer in de straat met overal terassen. Zelf bood het hotel ook een gezellig druk terras voor de deur. Na het borrelen buiten tot 24.00 uur was chillen in de foyer geen probleem. Zelfs een dansje kon worden gedaan. Personeel keek nergens gek van op:-). De volgende ochtend hebben we een heerlijk ontbijt kunnen genieten. Ook nu was de service geweldig en was niks te gek. Er was veel servies en keuken apparatuur beschikbaar en de sfeer was ook nu erg relaxt en gezellig. Enige puntje is het straatgeluid waarvoor je als gasten niet overbodig de oordopjes voor krijgt. Dus wanneer je die gebruikt is er niets aan de hand. Een geweldig fijn en mooi ingericht hostel. Aanrader!

Tiene su encanto para ser un Hostal , no hablamos de lujo , hablamos de ubicación estupenda pero servicios mínimos, apenas dispone de toalla de baño, que compensan su personal y la cervecería de abajo conectada entre ellos ,pero sin problema por repetir.
