포트 영 호텔(Fort Young Hotel)

Second time, years apart. I would definitely do it again and again. I was rather impressed with the hotel, great location, beautiful view, friendly staff.

The nicest hotel in Dominica. A lovely offering of bars, pool, hot tub, and working area. Excellent WiFi for the working travelers as well. The abundant staff are very kind. The negatives. The cruise ships come and go directly in front of the most amazing view. This happens daily and it will steal your soul. Unless you for some reason like to look at a large over sized vessel packed with people. Additionally, the options for an early check in seems not to exist even though the hotel has minimal occupancy. Not sure why. We had a major water leak from our ceiling. Luckily we were in the room when it occurred and reported it immediately. We had to pack everything and shift to another room. Nothing was even suggested as a token for the inconvenience. Even with that list of cons. It is still a lovely place to land in Roseau.

I find this place is way to costly for what is being offered. It's extremely expensive and food is not included. I would not recommend to anyone

Hotel was great only complaint is the room service for food is not good. The food always came up cold and didn’t taste good. I ordered the chicken stair-fry and rice was crispy and old and the entire meal was bad. Everything else I ordered during my stay was cold including the chips and pizza. Everything else but the food was excellent.

This place is incredible, built on the remains of an actual castle. It has a bar, cafe, restaurant, pool and probably more I didnt have time to see with the 12hrs I spent there. Rooms are very nice and comfortable.

The staff was amazing every last one of them. The rooms are comfortable. I hope theyvwork on the rooms closer to the ocean.

The stars surprised me. Because we got weekend girls Trip to beautiful upgraded room which we received before arrival. Then we got there No AC in the room for First night or what an dispoinment on 3 floor call during the night no answer then to find out 6 am front desk starts at 7. They wanted to put room two doors down Ac the same like really didnt play hot room. next morning no answer so we spend the whole day touring the island . We came back they showed downgrade room , and one in the same floor and ac was the same . I didnt accepted none. Tell the security guard i came for relaxing time not issues after issues. Well it took the Sharney accounting Dept to put us in original room booked mind u this now close 9pm. Gone to Breakfast Sunday breakfast buffet morning ate and was never offer coffee water or juicie . Come on have watching and trying to get the staff notice she continued to work. When i walk off and ask for supervisor or manager then i got some movement. This should not happened. Started the trip on bad note and to see the Staff not even going above or beyond. It i think the Accounting or Sharney to get us room with working air conditioning in the room we original paid for . I learned a lot of a Fort Young but going the extra without customer also will help also its your duty in that field . Thanks TriniJumoke 2023

Nice. Clean. Modern. Friendly staff. convenient to port & downtown areas. Shower head could use more pressure. Hot water faucet was a little spotty. But overall it was great!
