로마 베네토 렐라이스(Roma Veneto Relais)

In a old building, mixed with other residents on various floors. The rooms are actually separated within a big apar**ent. Breakfast is okay with boiled eggs and supermarket cakes.

Located in a strategic area near termini station, generally clean and quite, but: if you do not have the address you will never find it since it is located inside an old gate without any proper sign outside, the reception is a mere counter working at the fifth floor only until 2 pm, it is a series of rooms arranged in 3 apar**ents in a very old building (showing entirely its age and lack of maintenance); the elevator is the same as the one my grandmother used to have 60 years ago, my room was microscopic (just the space to walk arounf the bed), room look was ok, but maintenance is really needed (especially a fresh white paint on the walls), so-called breakfast buffet, is basically an area (room size) with 8 small tables where you have acces to food only if the others are all sitting, food is ok but nothing special, I have not seen any laundry bag. In spite the efforts of the personel the site is incompatible with proper accomodation.

Booked for 4 nights. Told prior to visit that there would be noone to welcome us. We needed a code for 3 doors. On arrival we did not know where we were. No visible sign. Green cracked door. Inside as you walk in the windows are cracked. If i was to come alone I would probably not stay and book elsewhere as too scary. We arrived got our key and to our shock room on 1st floor was clearly smallest and probably room for the staff. Listened to water pressure pump all nite. Room overlooked garage. Toilet seat smaller than toilet. In the morning I spoke to Alfonso the owner who laughed and thought me silly. Eventually doing us a favour he put us on fifth floor next to breakfast room. It was a lovely room. Clean. If you want to stay in Rome stay elsewhere. It is NOT that near to the sites. Stay clear this is not a hotel.

Everything was amazing the room was extremely clean and the location was the perfect one for seeing Rome Alfonso was very helpful with directions and suggestions.It is ideal was couple's but also family's and I can't specify how clean the room was. Definitely a must try hotel in Rome

We booked Roma Veneto Relais for the last leg of our Italy adventure and the pictures and review are truly deceiving as our travel agent booked this "hotel" for us. We were a group of 5 and booked (3) rooms and we really all go with the flow but this was on another level. It completely smelled of dirt/ the room had not been deep cleaned, you could see the dust on the drapes and the air conditioner was clogged with dust as you could see the filter had not been cleaned. I even videoed behind the TV and you could see how much dust was piled up. Now grant it who looks behind the tv's in your hotel room but it was off the wall and you could see the dirt. It's not truly a hotel when no one is around past 2PM and you can call to get help but was told we could be moved to a smaller room when we paid for a superior room. Also, never did we think that the bathtub/shower was in the middle of the room?! and with all the lights and the location of the shower this "hotel" seems more of an hourly establishment motel that you see in the movies. Lack of Elevator Use: There is an elevator but it does not stop on all the floors nor does it pick you up on the main floor so good luck if you have tons of luggage and if your elderly and or traveling alone you will have to lug your luggage up many flights of stairs. Bedding: We arrived to the round beds to them only having sheets on them and the additional bedding was folded in the closet cabinet and it just gave all of us the icks and no one wanted to touch them or sleep with them. One of the rooms shower did not even work. Pictures do not give you a true feel of how dirty this place was and our first clue should have been when our taxi driver gave us a look when we told him where to drop us off. When we informed the Owner/Mgr of us changing hotels and reporting him to everyone he texted us back "Good Luck" so its obvious he's been thru this before but somehow still goes unscathed. Huge lesson learned read thru all the reviews on TripAdvisor before booking a hotel. Its mind boggling how ******* and *********** recommend this place.

On arrival I was a bit worried what I had booked. Big green door with a panel that has lots of names, pressed the relative button and was granted access. Alfonso met us at front door. The hotel is situated in an area that is easily accessible to public transport and tourist areas. We stayed for 4 nights, the room is very clean and bed comfortable. Our room was on 5th floor that is accessible by lift. access to all entrances is one code. Alfonso is wonderful, I had a problem that he went over and beyond trying to help me get a solution. He is also very helpful with directions on map to different tourist sites, Room has coffee making machine and jug, fridge soap and shampoo. Breakfast consists of yogurt, toast, eggs cold meat, cheese and croissants and tea or coffee. Several restaurants within the block. My only improvement would be fluffier towels. Highly recommend.

If you went by looking at the photos, it's definitely a disappoin**ent. The location of the hotel is very central and that's the only good thing to say. There is no heater in the bathrooms, there is no shower head, the toilet does not work properly.

Arrived in one of those rooms that, they want to be cool, but they lack the basics. Faced with the evidence of dirt he said the room was clean. We decide to have the room done again instead of leaving, they change our sheets with traces of Mink, do a superficial cleaning by wiping everything down with vitril, at least that one jumps out at once. We decide to take a shower because we don't feel like taking a bath anymore..(in the cold room but with AC mod1975), but the shower only makes a nice cold water jet, because the hot water comes out shyly after 15 min, NO PRESS and for fractions of a second, we call Alfonsso and he says, Oh yes, right(oH YES, he knew the condition of the room), tomorrow the plumber will come, because it gives us problems lately, the plumber never came, the next day the shower still doesn't work, obviously, forced to leave in a hurry after a nice cold shower done badly. A little upset after the weekend ruined for my wife and me, I expose everything to partner Riccardo who says it's fixed, AND THAT WE SHOULD have notified him right away (on the weekend night, after we had an evening). In short he says ask ********** for a refund, I can't do anything to you, it's ********** that allows me to sell that "room" as a junior Suit, the boiler has been repaired but it still doesn't work. I leave, under the building door there is a plumber with a new boiler loaded in the hood, to which I ask if they hadn't been able to repair the boiler in the room yesterday, to which he replies "it couldn't be repaired it was punctured," I go back up, he's not there, then he appears, I expose, he had decided that I should accept all his lies, like the boiler was coincidently for another room, say thank you and leave, because the boiler was for another room it just so happens, but he didn't have the receipt for the supposed work done on Sunday...

Stayed first time, met owners who had 6 rooms, was good. Next stay, owners secured more floors and did it as cheaply as possible. Room in which we stayed had a round bed which was sooo uncomfortable, little amenities, so very small and in miniature. The owners original concept was taken over with GREED!! So disappointing. From 6 rooms to 3 floors in a highrise that you have to take stairs to access and little info. Paid our bill and wanted to tell of our disappoin**ent, but young man did not speak English. Don't stay there; it is highway robbery!!!!!!
