Feels harsh giving the hotel 4 stars. To be honest I could give a 5 star because it suited us perfectly. Rooms are okay. House keeping very good. You could get a drink anytime and the foods was good. Breakfast is great. You could pay more to get much less value in Rome. So I’m says it a secret 5 star place

The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel's location is ideal—close to all the sights and attractions we wanted to explore. Just a heads up to anyone considering staying at this hotel: I made a reservation for January 2025. I made the reservation directly on their website. This reservation was fully refundable, and I have the printed confirmation showing the refundable status. We've had to cancel our trip for this December. I have emailed Hotel Residenza in Farnese FOUR times, asking to cancel. I have included our name, dates of stay and the reservation confirmation number in each email. (I used the direct email link on their web page) I even translated one email to Italian! Each time I have received an auto reply confirmation that my email has been received. Despite my request for confirmation of the cancellation, I have not received a reply. They have my credit card number, as they request it to hold the reservation. I'm hoping we will not be charged! We have rescheduled our trip for March of 2025, and you can be sure we are NOT staying at Hotel Residenza in Farnese! .

The location is ideal. The room was simple but clean and housekeeping did a great job daily. The breakfast was ok. But the star is the front desk staff. So attentive and cordial. In particular we want to give a shoutout to Flavia who made us feel so welcome and comfortable.

Hi. We had a great experience at Hotel Residenza. Irene at the front desk was wonderful and help to accommodate us when we required one room for one person and a second room with two twin beds. The breakfast rocked and Jessica was super. We are returning in October 2024 with three other folks and have requested 4 rooms. Great location, great staff and great service. Hotel Residenza in Farnese is superior to other places I have stayed in the city center of Rome and is very close to the main sites of Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the Trastevere. I can't wait to return. Thank you, Glenn

This was a great base for my trip to Rome. The location is on a quiet street away from the crowds, but it's within walking distance or public transport of all the major spots you want to visit. A few steps and you're walking along the Tiber or to the restaurants of Trastevere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and varied. I would certainly stay here again.

My fourth stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and the neighbourhood has character and charm. There are several very good restaurants nearby - including the outstanding Hostaria Farnese (2 minutes) and Trattoria Da Luigi (10 minutes max). Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast - although the hot water for making tea needs to be quite a lot hotter! Lots of places to see within easy walking distance too - as I wrote above, the location is perfect - and also quiet.

This hotel was in a location that made it easy to walk to all the major sightseeing locations (Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, etc). Our room, while on the smaller side, satisfied our needs. Breakfast was included, and included a variety of choices. And the cappuccinos were the best!
