팔마 레지던스(Palma Residence)

Хороший интерьер, чисто, в комнате был балкон отличный вид. В комнате был холодильник, в санузле просторный душ. Но при регистрации в отеле произошла неприятная ситуация с заселением. Фактический адрес отличался от адреса бронирования, благо находился он недалеко.

Ottima posizione, attacca alla stazione termini. La zona del residence è tranquilla non affatto chiassosa. La camera nella norma. Il personale gentile e cortese. Ogni giorno veniva pulita la camera e cambiati gli asciugami, oltre al set di cortesia. L’unico disagio è stato il letto scomodissimo. Abbiamo chiesto un matrimoniale invece hanno unito 2 singoli che si apriva la voragine al centro. Poi abbiamo chiesto una coperta e 2 cuscini mai avuti. La doccia avrebbe bisogno una mensola.

The location is different from when I book the property, the actual address is "VIALE CASTRO PRETORIO 25 / Palma Residences in Rome" which is another 10 min walk from the original address. The check-in staff request us to pay for the reasonable city tax, but he ONLY accepts cash we do not bring too much cash travelling in Italy. In the end, he DOES have a card machine that he just somehow doesn't want to use, so we could pay the tax using a credit card after all. The room is very old and outdated. The floor seems to mop but is not super clean. The towels provided are heavily used. The AC is really strong which is nice. The shower is very tiny, just able to fit 1 person without turning too much. The showerhead has lots of moulds too. Overall I would want to stay in this place ever again.

Lo recomiendo para una opción económica pero de calidad en Roma! El barrio en el que se encuentra es muy tranquilo y con restaurantes muy recomendables, en menos de media hora caminando estás en cualquier lugar turístico. La habitación es suficiente, tiene nevera y las camas son cómodas. El baño es amplio y hay servicio de limpieza y cambio de toallas a diario. El personal es muy amable, volveríamos a alojarnos sin duda!

They tried sending me to a completely different building than the place I originally booked. Super rude and unprofessional. I walked to the other building and couldn’t even find the entrance other than a huge locked metal gate. Gave up on the place entirely and walked to another hotel. Do not book this place, it is garbage.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and I would never stay there again. The check in process was strange, we got an email two days before arriving giving us an address to check-in at which turned out to be a tiny little corridor with a desk in it. We were then walked to our building which seemed to be an apartment block with 4 rooms saved for the hotel. The room was fine, very different from the photos they provide on their site though. It was extremely basic, not the cleanest and the walls were very thin. We had requested two single beds but instead got two single mattresses on a double-bed base. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. There was extra duvets in the wardrobe but they had no covers on them and there was hairs on them. Our booking said breakfast was included, which turned out to be a worker from the hotel knocking in every morning at 9.30am with two cups of bad coffee and prepackaged cake bars/croissants. Checkout was unusual - we asked the night before how it was done and we were told to just leave the keys in the room and be out by 10am. We were told we could leave our luggage with the hotel for the day as our flight wasn’t until the evening. So we went to reception at 10am to leave our luggage but there was nobody there. We waited 20 minutes and finally someone showed up, we explained we were told we could leave our luggage and he told us to just leave it in the the hallway that was the reception and that we could only leave it for 4 hours because anything more than that was too long. We decided to leave our luggage elsewhere needless to say. The location was good and that was the only upside. It was very close to Termini and the city centre wasn’t far but despite the good location I’d still avoid this ‘hotel’ in the future. Do yourself a favour - splash out and book a better hotel if you’re going to Rome.

Just a room right next to Termini. Clean and big enough for me and my three kids.
