스플렌디도 베이 럭셔리 스파 리조트(Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort)

We loved our stay at Splendido Bay, the location on the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed some fabulous meals, the food in Ravale and Aqua Riva very good, we did feel service could be improved in both these restaurants, a bit more attention to detail was all that was required, for example, the filling of wine glasses and descriptions of food on serving. Drinks at the bar a high point, served by the fabulous Danilo, an asset to the resort. Rooms very comfortable and keep to a great standard. Would definitely return.

Staff were excellent and hotel clean and tidy . We struggled a bit with food choice but this was the same within the resort . Hotel and surrounding lakeside very busy at weekend but very chilled in week .

Wer hier 5* erwartet wird auf voller Linie enttäuscht werden. Also ich würde das hier als Jugendherberg-Standard ansehen. Kastastrophale Zimmer, Service (wenn dieser mal vorhanden) ist unterirdisch. Also ich würde KEINEM empfehlen hier knapp 400€ pro Nacht zu lassen. Ich war im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise dort und würde NIE wieder hier hin kommen. Selbst der realtiv schöne Pool ist nicht geheizt. Welness Bereich ist ein absoluter WITZ.

Die Lage ist phantastisch. Die Lobby einladend. Die Zimmer kommen höchstens auf 4 Sterne. Positiv sind die Restaurant (Qualtität des Essens) zu erwähnen. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse macht viel Spass. Das Eigentliche Problem ist das Personal. Waren via Reisebüro angekündigt 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind. Nichts war vorbereitet. In den Restaurant werden lieber Gäste von ausserhalb empfangen. Man musste sogar für ein Mittagessen um einen Tisch kämpfen. Die Rezeption war immer mit viel Personal besetzt aber eher abweisend und unterkühlt.

We were on our honeymoon and it wasn’t even acknowledged, they actually put us in a room above the kitchen and restaurant which was noisy up until midnight. There was no air conditioning and we couldn’t open the window because of all of the noise beneath us. We were treated completely differently to Chinese and German guests staying there and it was obvious they wouldn’t give us the time of day. They provided these other guests with nicer rooms and better service. I complained about the room and also that the restaurant offering room service being closed on our first night (after a 9hr drive!) we were told to eat I. Their expensive posh restaurant or go out and get pizza!

Absolutely incredible trip. Service, property, location, all incredible. I will be returning very soon. Excellente!! Splendido!!!

Loved the location with the view of the lake from the room and from the restaurant, security of the parking behind a tall fence; despite the fact we stayed only one night while on transit, we really enjoyed the experience

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel as the service from everyone, including the manager, was amazing. The customer service training was clearly embedded, even the cleaning staff said good morning. The outdoor pool area along with the views of the lake were fantastic. There was a lovely promenade walk at the back of the hotel by the lake, The food at breakfast was outstanding and the bar service was excellent too. A nice touch carrying our drinks to the room of an evening. Drinks costs more here than the local resturants Points to note: The hotel is a 50 min walk from the main town Desenzano. There is a clear path to follow The ferry timetables change in the winter and we didnt get to the north of the lake because of the time it would take on the ferry. The hotel offered one free shuttle bus service to town thereafter its 25 euros Download the Arriva bus time table, the buses are 95% reliable. Bus stops are outside the hotel and are only about 4 euros. Will need cash With hindsight we should of travelled around more and stayed in the nearby cities. From Desenzano station, Verona 30 mins, Venice 90 min, Milan 60 mins. Great Pizza place next to the hotel - Il Lido A n excellent location to see some of the best sights of Italy .
