Cotton Bay Hotel

Cotton Bay is absolutely stunning - the views, the beach and the peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect getaway. The staffs were welcoming from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the variety in the buffet, with different cuisines each day — always fresh and full of flavour. A special thank you to Mr. Ashok M. for his outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rodrigues.

Rooms recently renovated and were good and comfortable, the newly constructed blocks are great. Restaurant Service, Bar service and housekeeping were great. Food quality can be improved and please put name tags for every dish, some are marked but a lot are not marked, no differentiation between veg and non veg, veg food in the same cheffing dish as nonveg, lacks variety for breakfast. The pain of our stay is that on the 2 last days of our stay when we decided to stay at the resort, all pool umbrella’s were closed and hotel staff refused to get them open. Despite several complaints, they left guests in the scorching sun claiming there was too much wind… see the video of the wind. Not great ending to an otherwise perfect weekend…

Very clean room Most friendly staffs I have seen Wifi and tv is good I strongly recommend for someone looking to relax from the hassle of busy life. Spa is very good. Had two massage and slept really deep. I will come back with family and friends. Well done team and keep going

Excellent location and experience as a regular guest. Accommodation, atmosphere, service, recognition, care, kindness, cleanliness all were perfect and beyond expectation. Value for money. Having known cotton bay for 25 years, the transformation and level of standard meet well and above a real 4 star resort.

Dear Team, I am writing to file a formal complaint about my stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was not up to the standard I expected, and I would like to bring a few issues to your attention Upon arrival , I told her my room was on the ground floor, but when I had done my reservation , I told him if possible, I could allocate my room on the first floor. So, the conclusion taken messages has not passed. Getting my room air-conditioning was not working properly. Maintenance has come telling the aircon is getting fresh air, but in not that case. I am going to see the manager of the of the hotel I meet Stephanie, who has been able to allocate me in another room. I informed her that if I had facilitated a late check out to compensate the problem i had encountered, when checking a lot of wasting time. The result i got is that they have provided me with a bigger room. It's not me that I have to ask a bigger room. Secondly I went to dinner. I have to bring my own bottle of water as they don't provide water. When Me Edley saw a bottle of water on the table, he told me not to show the bottle of water on the water. So I put it on the floor. We have children with us, and putting down a bottle of water on the floor is it acceptable. Tomorrow, when I go for breakfast, I see him. There is no welcoming from him. The face appears to be angry with us. According to me he is not a professional customer service bad. Thirdly in room only the day of arrival we have been provided with water and after that we have to purchase own of water bottle. Fourthly poor room service wait for long time and house keeping they don't clean properly not refuelling of bath shampoo tissu paper but they have help me for the decorations of the room for my wife birthday and myself amd my wife has like the decorations Finally the day of my arrival they introduced me to the manager. I think it was a visitor because the way he has been dressed no welcoming address to us in fact was looking us withna angry face. Conclusion I take poor hospitality , poor customer service, lack of experience, and staff lack of manner how address to client to pleased to feel at home Overall, I was disappointed with my stay at your hotel and do not feel that I received the level of service that I paid for. I would appreciate it if you could take appropriate action to address these issues and ensure that future guests do not have the same negative experience Thanks you for your attention to this matter Sincerely Buldawo

Nice clean and peaceful hotel. In fantastic location of Rodrigues by the beautiful beach. The housekeeping staff were kind and friendly. The restaurant staff went the extra mile to help me as I could not use my right hand. It was immobilised with a fracture . They helped me to put food on my plate and carry the plate where I was sitting . That is caring. The hotel itself was delightful with a nice pool over looking the turquoise sea and white sandy beach . From the balcony at the back was a beautiful garden and distant away was a picturesque green hill I will recommend a stay there.
