Fernhill is a lovely B&B looking over Rochdale. It's location is perfect and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and all the amenities are catered for. There is a fully stocked breakfast area and the continental breakfast has a lot of variety. I would highly recommend staying here as it truly is beautiful and a stones throw away from town and Healey dell. If you enjoy walking, this is perfect for you!

Warming welcome, lovely and clean and comfortable,the room was great it had amazing views over the countryside that you could look out at even led in bed, all amenities you could ask for including a little kitchenette that all guests had access to in our block of 4 rooms , easy parking right in front of our room, highly recommended.

One night was not enough! I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be coming back, for a long weekend next time! Everything about this beautiful b&b is just amazing. The whole experience from start to finish was everything you’d want for the perfect break/date night. The host Rob was wonderful and accommodating when I contacted with questions before the stay. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking (I have attached picture). The whole experience overall was incredible, tranquil and peaceful. And the room itself was clean, comfy and a home from home. We will be back!!!!

TA recommendations led me to this delightful B and B. It is a bit outside Rochdale and down a long narrowing drive but the reward is a place with fantastic views. Plenty of room for booking. Requested shower cubicle rather than shower over bath which the owner sorted out. Cosy room with desk, lovely bathroom and excellent soap. Biscuits wit tea in the room and excellent Wi-Fi. Breakfast is optional and self service.Continental only but wide range of bread, cereal, porridge, yoghurts, tea. Lovely view from the breakfast room. Owner explains the system of picking up your key from a box on arrival and notes you need to leave by 10.00 the following morning. All the above worked for me so positively recommend if this type of set up works for you.

Fortunately this amazing place is just off the beaten track. So those coming here will appreciate the experience. It’s small but perfectly presented. Absolute silence…clean…comfortable and no staff fussing around. You won’t be disturbed so you can appreciate the location and ( if weather permits) the lovely views. There are large scale local maps available depicting some superb walks in almost all directions. Will be back!

Stayed here for 2 nights to attend a friends wedding .. one of the nicest places we have stayed.. A mile up the hill from town with a very good taxi service. Set on a farm with horses and stunning views over the town, our room was lovely, enormous bed, large bathroom.. very comfortable . Separate breakfast room which was fully stocked with all you could ever want.. would absolutely recommend Fernhill and would love to return..
