房間挺大的 早餐比較垃圾 就幾個哈密瓜要50** 前台小哥不會刷中國磁條卡 害我取了現金 白花手續費 位置也挺方便的 基本還可以吧

Stayed there for a few nights on a short notice business trip. Upon check in I was given a room that had a strong paint smell and when I asked to change, the front desk agent was not very accommodating! Rooms are outdated, horrible mattress, and I didn't bother to even check breakfast. I had a very interesting incident when I woke up at 2:15 am on a noise coming from the corridor and when I opened the door, I found housekeeping cleaning an adjacent room! At 2:15am! Of course I couldn't have a proper conversation with the attendant, no English and no Arabic, and not sure he understood what he was doing or what I was saying.. And if you have to stay, bring your own internet as it was so bad that I spent my stay connected to my mobile data on hotspot!

90 minutes wait at the check-in was the worst check-in experience ever. And the hotel was prepaid! Breakfast is below average, not even a 3* standard. Rooms are not well maintained, furniture is falling apart. Wi-fi in the room does not work most of the time. On the good side, hotel is located in a quiet area, bed was pretty comfty, and room was spacious. Parking is free of charge. Great arab grill joint around the corner.

I found Grand Plaza Riyadh Takhasosi very cozy, and comfortable location. Check inn and check out was very fast. Friendly and outgoing reception, hotel territory very safe, not noisy. Speak English well. Rooms big and comfortable. Great food in restaurant working 24/7 just call 7000 number from your room and can order different type of food from menu. Big pool area. Very recommend this hotel for tourists from any country.

This is a tired, old hotel in what feels like the middle of nowhere. I can’t believe my work booked it for me. The room is large with furniture about 40 years old. Bed is big and ok. Bathroom is usable but looks dingy being so old. Not quirky, rustic old - old and not looked after. Rooms stinks and traffic noise is loud. Breakfast is bad. Wanted room service… but no chance. So as female single traveller am stuck.

This is a hotel you will probably find available on *********** when all other common hotels you are used to are fully booked. I nearly missed my reservation for missing the check-in deadline that was mentioned in my booking confirmation and I had to send someone to the hotel to pay the full amount in advance so that they will keep the reservation until my late arrival. A negative first impression with a dull room, unclean toilet and old room furniture. I had to call for the housekeeping to come and clean the toilet so that I can use it. I also asked for extra hangers to add to the only 2 I found in the very small closet. I found some difficulty in explaining to the housekeeping staff what I needed because they hardly speak Arabic or English. The receptionist explained that they have a gym with very few equipment to “help move my muscles only” but it turned out to be less than basic and the one main equipment was malfunctioning. To add to that, the iron table was broken and I could hardly use it. The internet connection was frequently interrupted and the bathroom was smelly at some times. I didn’t bother a lot complaining about all of these issues because it was a 2 nights stay and the hotel was fully booked. On the good side, they have a restaurant that serves good food and a satisfactory breakfast. Most importantly, and strangely enough, I had 2 comfortable nights of sleep and the staff was cooperative in allowing for a free late check out and this is where the 3 stars evaluation comes from.

List of Issues * Pre-Arrival - Receptionist could not act on instructions to delay the arrival date by 24 Hours , sent 5 emails and over 20 calls in Arabic and English * First Morning - No Towels in the room , phoned housekeeping and they sent up one ! * Room Telephone - does not work on half the bottons * Bathroom horrible bodge job in terms of sealants around teh bath * Room in General very poorly maintained - Wallpaper hanging off in Bedroom , plain pluywood showing in suite area * The single TV Remote did not work for either of the two TV's - Replacement Remote held together with Duck Tape * Arrived back to one afternoon, with the two cleaners saying Tip Tip Tip and leaving their hands out * Breakfast Buffet - Awful quality and run out of hot food * Room Service - Very limited Choice * Iron - Dirty and ruined a shirt when tried to iron it * WIFI - started ok - after an hour fades and you have to call Reception to reboot

Most certainly not a 4* hotel, at best a 3*! The furniture is old and worn or damaged, the carpet is dirty, lighting throughout the room + bathroom is poor. The hotel has only 3 floors, so the rooms are quite noisy because of the traffic. The shower has a very narrow screen on the left and right side but nothing in the middle, so the whole floor gets flooded. How on earth anybody can design a shower in that way is a mystery to me! Room size is ok.

Stayed at Grand Plaza for a few days with my wife, and considering how much they charge, I'd have expected better (at the time we were there, room rate was around $95-100). Everything, pretty much everything, was basic. Not enough TV channels (frustrating if you choose to stay in the room long enough, and having no sports channels was both a surprise and disappointing as we went during the World Cup season and hoped to catch some of the games from our room). The staff though were always willing to help, although for half of them, the language was an issue as their English was sketchy.
