Hotel is in a great location with walking distance to restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable with parking available. Breakfast is included and had plenty of options including fresh baked bread! Front desk was pleasant and very helpful!

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to have numerous dining options, which was a positive aspect of my experience. However, I believe the property is in need of significant renovations, particularly in the area of plumbing. On a more positive note, the staff members were exceptionally courteous and helpful throughout my stay.

The location was perfect. Not in a crowded city but in a charming smaller town. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the train station and easy flat road to walk with luggage. Staff was kind, room was clean and quiet, food at dinner was excellent. A two minute walk to fabulous restaurants and directly across the street from the beach. It was an older property with old world charm. We highly recommend!!

A very expensive hotel with nothing to offer. Rooms are so sad, cheapest furniture, smallest room in history, plastic furniture in bathroom, no welcome water or anything in minibar, coffee machine, poor breakfast. They charge parking 20€ per day, their own sunbeds for their guests 40€ per day and even rent of beach towels 5€ peace plus 5€ for every swap! So disrespectful to their guests. They should visit other hotels in other countries and learn how to treat and please their customers. Price for 5*, rooms and service barely 3* (more 2* than 3*)

We stayed at Grande Albergo with our 11 month old son for 5 nights in July 2023. The beach town of Sestri Levante is truly a hidden gem and Grande Albergo was the perfect place to stay. The hotel’s location is ideal, just across from the beach and close to everything, including great restaurants. Rooms were very well-cleaned. But what really makes Grande Albergo great is its staff - everyone from the front desk, restaurant and beach staff to the cleaning staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Our son got sick during our trip, and the front desk was very quick to help us get a doctor appoin**ent. Further, on the day we had to leave for the airport, there was a 24-hour train strike across Italy, and again the staff was quick to arrange a driver for us. In addition to being very service-minded, the staff at Grande Albergo are all very kind and made us feel very welcome. Recommend to book beach chairs in advance, as the beach (for good reason) is very popular. We will definitely be back!

The hotel had a great location and a lovely pool on the roof but overall it was a bit too pricey for what you get. I’m sure it was amazing in it glorious days but… The rooms was not very charming for the price and we were a bit disappointed.

Lovely location right on the front with the beach just across the road. Restaurants galore within easy walking distance. The double deluxe rooms have a great view of both the beach and the mountains. Rooms are clean and tidy. Rooms have no tea and coffee making facilities in the Double deluxe room. Rooms are small but easily adequate for a short stay. Shower was tiny. Pool was great and we had to ourselves. Staff were always cheerful and really helpful even though we spoke zero Italian.
