빌라 코로나 델 마르 호텔 앤드 방갈로(Villa Corona del Mar)

We enjoyed the accessibility to the beach, the kind staff doing the best they could with what they had. The facility is run down with broken trim and holes around windows. Got a lizard in our room one night!! It needs a lot of work/updating and this appears to be identified by a banner at the front advertising Sales with a Condo Complex coming soon. It will be sad to see this quaint Hotel torn down. It was probably gorgeous in the past and up-to-date.

Very clean. Very charming Mexican vibe. Front desk both English and Spanish. Walkable to everything in Guayabitos. Beachfront. Pool refreshing and very clean. Sunsets unbeatable from balcón. Internet a bit slow

This place must have been amazing before as the "bones" are amazing. Victor will do anything he can for you. But since it is being torn down for a condo before the end of the year the new owners are putting absolutely nothing back into the property Based upon their lack of concern for this property I would never consider purchasing anything from them. Best recommendations is to stay away

The residential property is located across the street from the beach. Easy access and walkable to many restaurants nearby along the beach. Beautiful property, a bit older for sure but with a lot of personality. Friendly staff, Wi-Fi available and Continental breakfast. Comfortable bed. Clean. Safe . Nice pool and area to sit by. The bad. Not sure what the other rooms look like but it was very basic. No extras. We had our own bathroom, but that was it. No TV. But I always say we don’t spend our time in the room anyway as long as we can, sleep well and get shower. I’m gone outside having fun.

We had stayed at Villa 5 yrs prior and it was lovely. Great hotel, wonderful breakfast, engaging staff, clean, all you could want. We returned expecting the same, it is now an absolute dump. Everything has gone by the wayside. We couldn’t stand the rancid, mildew smell of the room, I was afraid of sleeping there for one night. The next morning we walked down the beach and found another accommodation which was wonderful. We lost all the money we had paid, we could not stay there another day. I could list the problems from linens, dirty, dusty rooms, rusty pitted furnishings, nothing in the am for coffee, I didn’t want to touch anything! Please take this advice and stay away

This was the absolute worse hotel we stayed at! We booked for 7 nights but checked out after one night to fulfill their cancellation policy. 10 days later we still have not received a refund from the hotel or ***********. The booking site said it was a TOP RATED hotel and obviously they did not do their due diligence before listing this hotel. Do not believe the reviews on their site! It is unkempt, not maintained, not appealing and WAY overpriced. You can do much better! The bedding was dinghy with stained pillowcase and sheets. It was a very uncomfortable night for us. Dead bugs were on the floor and shower. The very stained curtains did not completely close - luckily we had a bag clip we used to close them a bit. The shower pressure was almost nonexistent. The bathroom fixtures were pitted and ugly. The dresser had rough bare wood drawers that fell out when pulled open. The plant on our deck was dead and flowers in the lobby were wilted and sad. The furniture in the lobby was ugly and ripped. There was no mini fridge and instead we were invited to put our drinks in the communal fridge where anyone could have access to our drinks. There was a moldy taco in the fridge. The breakfast was a joke! A few pastries that had seen better days and cut fruit that didn’t appear to be fresh. There was coffee available at about 9:15 in the morning. No eggs as mentioned in a previous review. The pool area was nice but due to maintenance of chlorine levels being uncertain- we did not have confidence go in the water. The hotel was close to the beach and the view and sunset from our room was nice. At one time this hotel must have been lovely - beautiful mosaics- but now it is old and tired and decrepit. Do not book here

Lo único malo es que no había pantalla o televisión en el cuarto!

El hotel es ideal para descansar y estar muy agusto con la familia, está a tan solo unos pasos de la playa que es muy tranquila y limpia. La limpieza del hotel es impecable, y su arquitectura colonial es muy bonita. El servicio al cliente es muy muy bueno, todos son muy amables y el gerente se esmera en que uno pase un tiempo muy agradable cuidando cada detalle, íbamos por una semana y nos hubiera gustado quedarnos mucha más tiempo, 100 % recomendable.
