The Box Riccione - Adults Only

A beautiful surprise - this hotel is quirky and abundant in style. Staff is very friendly, bilingual (probably much more than two languages … but we tested two!), warm and accommodating. The amenities were smartly designed, with the right touch of luxury at the most important places (like the room phone and coffee machine!). Food was excellent (breakfast is included). Its location is amazing in relation to beach and shopping / restaurant area. All in all, we will recommend to our friends!

I loved everything about this hotel, especially its unique and charming décor. Our room was spacious enough for the two of us and offered plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable, and the round-shaped bathroom was spotlessly clean. A fun touch: little messages are placed throughout the room, adding a bit of personality and charm to the stay. There were only a couple of small downsides. The hair dryer was quite small and slow, and the shower had only a ceiling-mounted showerhead—so if you didn’t want to wash your hair every day, a shower cap was necessary (not the most sustainable option). That said, we were still very happy with the room overall. For breakfast, you can choose from a menu, and the quality of the food was excellent. We also enjoyed drinks at the bar one evening, which were just as good. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even though our Italian wasn’t perfect—they made us feel at home right away. The beach is just across the street, and the hotel provides beach towels. While there's no private beach club for hotel guests, there are plenty of great options along the beach, so it wasn't an issue. The city center is literally around the corner, with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops within easy reach. If I return to Riccione, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Okey hotel, rather small and very few guests. The location was great though. The a la carte breakfast could be better. Got boring after 3 nights. No pool or gym. The bed was also on the small side and very firm.

Truly pet friendly. Welcome in restaurant / bar area. Basket, bowl, treat provided. Mixologist knows his cocktails and a fine selection of original cocktails Restaurant worth a visit for its’s fine dining . Hotel with a nice touch of humour and personality. Comfortable bed and bathroom.

In 1974 - 50 years ago! I met my wife when we both happened to be staying at the Hotel Nevada now called The Box Hotel in Riccione Italy. This summer we decided to re-visit this wonderful Adriatic coast holiday resort to reminisce and see what changes have been made. We were thrilled with the welcome we received at The Box Hotel from Marianna and Alfredo and all the wonderful staff. When we arrived after 9pm they were there to greet us and made us feel so special. The hotel has been completely redesigned and the result is a fun, well run unique and lively boutique hotel. The food and the service were very good, the bar and the cocktails a very enjoyable focus. The hotel is in a wonderful position for both the beach and main shopping streets and restaurants. In Riccione this is the place to stay. We had the most wonderful 2 day visit and look forward to returning again - sooner than 50 years!

The Box Riccione is a wonderful hotel. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and many restaurants and shopping. The staff was wonderful, rooms were very clean. The restaurant and bar were some of the best at a hotel we have experienced.
