Memphis Beach Hotel

A middle class hotel (***) located in Kolymbia close to the beach, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, bus stops and not least the beautiful Kolymbia bay from which there are boat trips. There are two swimming pools. The cleaning is top notch and the staff is addressed on a first name basis. Especially the head receptionist, Maria, is a real mood bomb and lovable. The food is really good, varied and healthy. There is weekly musical entertainment. So what more could you want?

stayed at this hotel in june good points food was fantastic could not fault it ,fresh every day pool fantastic ,the drinks in the day are limited to beer and wine or soft drinks . room was very clean and tidy and cleaned every day . staff on site are fantastic very welcoming . beach is five mins walk but pebbly .its about 15 euros for the loungers but there is toilets and shower adj ,there is a snack place on the beach . the hotel is very central to the centre of kolymbia . the shop adj to the hotel is very good and so is the snack bar good prices . found about 3 bars local to the hotel . about 15 euros for a coctail and a 500ml beer . so to round off vey good hotel and local to shops ,and bars would go to memphis hotel again

A nice middle class hotel (***) located in Kolymbia close to the beach, supermarket, cafes, restaurants and bus stops. Not to forget the beautiful Kolymbia Bay. Nice staff, who you get to know on a first name basis, and then Maria, our receptionist, who is a mood bomb! The food is really good and varied, the cleaning is top notch. Two pools and two paddling pools for children. Weekly musical entertainment. What more could you ask for?

Arrived on the 2nd of June for 10 days with my family, we had 2 rooms, 1 for myself and wife and one for our 19 and 16 year old. We hadn’t been in the hotel for more than 5 minutes and was met with its €100 tax fine I get that that isn’t anything new, then told we have to pay for air conditioning €160 for the 2 rooms, absolute joke never had to pay for that in an all inclusive before! Then we was “told” the rules, you can’t use the pools until 10am and you have to be out of them by 6pm weird never heard of that before either! So the told about drinks, soft drinks all day yep fine all be drink it quick as it goes flat very quick, beer served up in a tiny plastic beaker (beer is awful) and you can’t get a cocktail all day until half past 8pm and only until 10:30pm what’s that all about it’s an “all inclusive”, Food can only be described as poor at best, breakfast, everything cold, cold eggs, cold omelette, tiny little cocktail sausages cold, beans felt like they come straight out the can, potato’s cold, cheese like plastic, ham was like that cheap Billy bear ham, rolls, hard, then we come to lunch and dinner well what you have for lunch you pretty much have for dinner. Some sort of chicken or pork, fish that tastes of water, cold potato’s, rice bland, pasta not to bad, Mexican night thought this will be better, wrong! Tortillas stale could literally unfold them flat no crunch, mince inside stone cold, salad options yeah ok but very watery, can’t even look your own beer never had that at an all Inclusive before, out of the 10 nights we eat out more than in the hotel we was just hoping the food was going to get better but it didn’t. Rooms yeah small but ok, 1 pillow, decent view, cleaned most days side note they don’t clean Sundays! Location great, plenty of shops and restaurants, only 10 minutes from a beach. Would I return to Rhodes yes would I return to this hotel not in a million years avoid at all costs for the money we spent on the holiday it’s no way warrants it,. They hide behind the all inclusive title

Very pleasant experience, for the money was a great hotel, nice big room with a sea view, food was nice every day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) luxury of 2 pools is great, neither were busy meaning plenty of sun beds and room in the pool. Great location in Kolymbia, right next to the little town with plenty to do such as boat trips and buses to Rhodes town and Lindos and a beach a short walk away with another beach a little further walk away but not far. Overall a great hotel, great location, value for money, would recommend.

Hotel is very fair 3+ star. I saw there one of most polite and agile personal. Everything was clean and fair. Mixed drinks are above hotel rank. Minuses are paid air condition, food can be in some cases better (for hotel cathegory), like not properly baked bacon, some of food can be more spicy. But all is strictly fresh and good, I newer saw anything old, nonfresh, or even "reused", like can be seen in some Egypt hotels. Main pool has not good water quality in visual way, but water is disinfect and OK. For my money, i got more that I expected.
