The room is clean and easy to stay! A good experience!

Ha una posizione fantastica per gli spostamenti, forse metterei qualcosa in più nella dotazione dell'angolo cottura. Abbiamo preso il monolocale economy che aveva solo il microonde e non è stato facile cuocere qualcosa. Il check in è comodissimo e il proprietario è sempre pronto ad aiutarti. Fantastic location, everything we wanted no more than 15 minutes walk away. Bit cosy but good what we needed it for, easily did breakfast and a few evening meals in the kitchen area. Bin etc emptied daily.

I really enjoyed my stay at this studio apartment. As my flight got in early, the manager made sure I had the code to leave my things safely store before having access to the apartment. The unit is close to the city's "main street" and even further activities like the National Museum or the Settlement Museum are in a walkable distance. Perfect!

We stayed at Island Apartments 25 March-28 March. Warm, cozy, great price point, within walking distance to everything we wanted to see (even with our young twins and the cold weather we were able to walk around the city and see the sites from this apartment). There is a grocer just down the street, stove top in the apartment, as well as little refrigerator. Two nearby bus stops to catch excursions and restaurants galore in this area. Ingunn went above and beyond by watching our luggage after checkout so we could go out and explore, as well as providing a place for us to warm up and use the toilet after exploring was done and as we awaited our bus back to the airport. Definitely recommend this place!

I had a very peculiar situation, as I found myself in Reykjavik with my previous housing options unavailable. The owner of Island Apartments was extremely understanding about my situation and had a studio set up for me immediately. At first, I had only scheduled one night, but found myself unexpectedly needing a second, at which she was very understanding and allowed me to stay in the same room with little forewarning. This last weekend has been one of the worst of my life, and words can't describe how thankful I am to Island Apartments for being flexible, clean, and open for me to stay there. If you're in Reykjavik, this is a fantastic location, just off Laugavegur - the main shopping street, and less than 1 km away from Hallgrimskirkja. The rooms are clean, with full amenities that would be needed for any length of stay. Absolutely recommend.

I loved the location, it was so close to tge harbor, shopping restaurants and bus stops. The room was perfect, clean and modern. The noise from the street was annoying but did not reduce my time. I would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay here, and the host was so friendly! We were super grateful for early check in after a long day of travel. Bed was super comfortable and the apartment was surprisingly spacious. Nice shower and easy code-based entry. Location was close to a lot of Reykjavik restaurants and activities without being too noisy at night. Price was super reasonable and we'll definitely stay here again! We parked in the nearby Tradarkot parking garage.
