We were here for our golden wedding anniversary and could not have picked a nicer hotel. The owner, Anna, and her staff were truly marvellous and bought us flowers, cakes and a card when they found out that we were there celebrating fifty years of wedlock. We had a junior suite Eridanus, on the ground floor with a small courtyard, kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The hotel is based on a Venetian Palace and is over 100 years old. The staff told us of the history of the hotel when it was a private home, originally owned by a doctor and his family. Part of the old city walls surround the hotel and the stone work is magnificent. We enjoyed a continental breakfast in the beautiful outside courtyards amidst the wonderful flowers and plants in terracotta pots. The hotel is located within the old town but a quiet part, away from the noise and bustle. It was very quiet with just the sound of the local church bells ringing occasionally. We would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends, it is small but absolutely charming and we were won over by the warmth and friendliness of the staff.

Anna, Charlotte, Eva and Manos were the most perfect hosts! Our rooftop suite and terrace was immaculately clean, so comfortable, kept cool and had stunning views of the blue, blue sky and beautiful church tower! The best place to stay in Rethimno. The rooms are amazing, so are the hosts: Manos, Eva, Challott. All details are perfect!. The beds and the furniture in general are very comfy. Breakfast includes everything, and many local delicacies We will certainly come again! Thank you.

WOW❤️ Casa Moazzo is a gem located in the heart of Rethymnon. We are very picky and were pleasantly surprised by this place. The rooms/apartments are newly refurbished and appear exclusive, delicate, clean and spacious. We lacked nothing. Since my husband is very tall, he depends on beds that are long enough, and good to lie in. We both slept very well in these beds. We have stayed in two rooms at Casa Moazzo and both were equally good. There is a special calm here, even though it is in the middle of the old town. The breakfast is amazing. You get a healthy and good breakfast where you can choose from various hams, cheeses, vegetables, jams, bread etc. You can order eggs prepared to your liking. Boiled, fried, scrambled eggs or omelette. Our favorite is omelette with ham, cheese and tomato. Greek yogurt with a healthy topping is a must, along with freshly squeezed juice and coffee. Perfect. The owner and staff are super nice and they do everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They are perfect hosts because they really like other people and treat you with kindness and respect. It has been fantastic to stay here and we will of course come back to this lovely place ❤️

What a find! Casa Moazzo is in the old town - bit far away enough from any noisy bars or restaurants. Boutique hotel, all rooms and suites are individual. Very spacious, elegant, good quality bed linens and towels, and lovely toiletries. Breakfast is taken at either of the two outdoor courtyards. We arrived very late - we were greeted by Eva. Next morning we were offered recommendations of places to visit, eat, drink - all of the team’s suggestions were absolutely spot on. A lovely, lovely holiday and we were thoroughly spoilt!

We stayed for 4 nights between 22-26 July. Each one is run by a sweet and friendly family. We were greeted very nicely at the entrance. When they saw that we were tired, they offered us refreshments. The breakfast, the rooms, the environment, everything was perfect. They gave us excellent advice on local and more beautiful places instead of touristic routes. When we left the hotel, I forgot some of our clothes in the hotel room. When we contacted the family, they sent our belongings to Rhodes Island by cargo, covering the shipping fee themselves.
