Ard Na Mara Beach Cottage

Greeted on arrival yesterday evening by the very pleasant and welcoming Amanda, and led immediately into the “panoramic room”, at which point my jaw dropped. I spent two years of my misguided youth working in a five star hotel so I’m not easily impressed but on this occasion, I couldn’t not be. The room is massive, with a wetroom style en-suite. I loved the decor, their vibe and I really enjoyed reading through the thoroughly entertaining welcome guide (avoid Clifden ☑️). The breakfast. Mother of God, the breakfast. The single best breakfast I’ve ever had on an overnight stay in any hotel, hostel, B&B or guesthouse. I need those sausages in my life. And thankfully, not a mushroom to be seen on my plate (thank you for remembering, Amanda!). I loved the kitchen/dining room too; what a gorgeous room. Without a doubt one of the best B&Bs in Ireland. Top notch. Thank you Amanda and Peter for your hospitality.

Arrived To a beautiful house, house was soooo romantic and a place that will make you feel so in love. Food is beautiful and beautifully presented, mood, lighting, music is so good. If your looking for an engagement this is the place, beautiful fire, features. The hosts are so good, and attentive, and really made my stay wonderful. The rooms are so beautiful 😍, and so comfortable and decorated to a really lovely standard, I never recommend place but this place made me feel like I've never felt in a place before. It was just a beautiful place. There is a very small dog and it's just perfect. I know there is no such thing as perfect, but this place is.
