호텔 빌라 알렉산드르

우리가 이 따뜻하고 아늑한 호텔에 온 것은 이번이 세 번째입니다. 우리는 항상 올바르게 받았습니다. 실제로 우리가 위층에서 자고 있을 때 짐은 들고 다니지 않았습니다. 그 자체로는 심각한 것이 없습니다. 그런데 지난번 숙박때 저희는 아래층 방에서 잤어요(7인거 같아요).방에 들어가자마자 고양이 오줌 냄새가 심하게 나서 습격받았어요.. 리셉션 담당자가 감히 아니라고 하더군요. 냄새가 전혀 안나요.. 불편해서 다른 방을 주실 수 있는지 물어봅니다. 그녀는 위층에 방이 하나 뿐인데 호텔은 더 이상 위층에 동물을 허용하지 않는다고 말했습니다(이전에 다른 손님의 동물로 인해 발생한 피해로 인해: 이해합니다). 그러나 결과적으로 우리는 냄새가 나는 방에서 자야 합니다. 방음이 잘 안되는 소변(손님이 커튼을 찢어서 문에서 나오는 소음을 줄이는 데 도움이 됨)과 욕실 난방이 작동하지 않습니다. 하지만 더 이상 존재하지 않는 서비스에 대해 높은 비용을 지불하고 어떠한 조치도 취하지 않았습니다. 정말 실망했어요. 거기로 다시 갈 일은 없을 것 같은데...

우리는 프랑스 남부로 가는 길에 하룻밤을 묵었는데 정말 멋진 경험이었습니다. 호텔은 아름답고 직원은 훌륭했습니다. 도착했을 때 우리는 현지 포도원에 가는 대신 수영장 옆에서 와인 한 병과 함께 오후를 보내기로 결정했는데, 떠날 가치가 없다고 생각했습니다. 우리도 그곳에서 저녁을 먹기로 결정했는데 그것은 프랑스에서 2주 동안 먹은 최고의 식사 중 하나였습니다. 전체 직원에게 감사드립니다.

Stayed as part of a 60th birthday trip. Hotel was simply fabulous. Communication pre-trip was excellent, and a warm friendly welcome awaited from all the staff. Ideal location to explore north Beaujolais. Food in the restaurant was very good, we ate on both nights. Would easily return in the future, in warmer weather to enjoy the wonderful outdoor area which is immaculately kept.

We have been here several times and we just love this place. The villa and the ambience is just great. This time we stayed in the rooms in the villa building rather than in the big suites in the outbuildings. The rooms in the villa turned to be out just as great (if not better) and the food was excellent (as always). So, why "almost" and not 5 stars? First, this was the first time we booked on their website, instead of something like ***********, and we found it to be not very user friendly. The booking process for two rooms is a bit confusing and booking a table for dinner is cumbersome as you have to enter all your details all over again as well as pre-authorise your credit card specifically for dinner. That doesn't really give a warm welcome feeling... Second, we had been here several time before so, a "welcome back" or "nice to see you again" would have been nice.

What a find, but quirky, very French, didn’t realise they spoke English until a menu arrived, had managed most of the afternoon in my French! Only UK car in the car park, which meant no bottomless brunches and women piling on the fizz. Rooms were lovely with delightful decor. Restaurant was excellent, rabbit, trout, and a brilliant waiter, we didn’t get his name but he was brilliant, dinner is served on the terrace.

Absolutely fantastic in every way. Our evening meal was first class, we both enjoyed every mouthful. The hotel is beautiful, situated in very picturesque surroundings and the staff were lovely. We will definitely return next time in are in France and would stay longer. Would be lovely in the summer to enjoy the beautiful gardens and pool.
