The Cosy Cottage

Really nice staff. I like it here as you can sit outside in the good weather and do not need to book in advance. Beer served. Prices reasonable. Stays open into evening. Rooms above diner can be rented.

Just back from a 2 day stay at Cosy Cottage. Lovely clean room, really pleasant staff and great breakfast. The property is in the middle of Moville and handy for local attractions. Will definitely stay there again, thanks to everyone.

First time in here and wouldn’t go back as very basic food like a cheap cafe type food.. I ordered a toastie and it was not filled well and was on the thinnest cheapest bread . Looked completely flat on the plate when it was served up and no salad or anything on the side . Most places do that now and even give coleslaw on the side.The two other people with me weren’t impressed either . One had chips as a side and they were tasteless like frozen oven chip type . Too many nicer places now so need to up their game. The server to the table also was very sullen didn’t smile and looked fed up .I think probably ok this place for a tea and cake or icecream.

Me and my husband stayed here and had a fab time. Nothing is too much bother for the staff. We stayed first in August but had to come home a day early and had paid on arrival. When I contacted the host about the possibility of returning for another night as we had already paid they were so accommodating. No problem at all. Highly recommended. Food gr8 n a hearty breakfast in the morning. Spoilt for choice with pubs

This is the friendliest possible place. The whole place is owned by a delightful couple that run both the small inn and restaurant below. The restaurant, that closes plenty early for people trying to relax in their rooms, is quite good - especially good is the espresso and baked goods! One of the owners went out of her way to welcome us and help us store bikes we were using as part of a tour (they also rent bikes and e bikes there too). She also gave us great advice about where to eat and find a good pub. You should stay here. We hope to again.

Called this eve with my aunt & 2 little girls. We got a beautiful meal & few drinks. Very reasonable food was hot ,& generous portions. & Amazing staff & owner was a lovely woman & very friendly. We will be back.
