Geoff and Nicole are very active communicating with their guests and they really work hard to make sure you are happy! The entire staff goes out of their way to be friendly and welcoming and yet at the same time your privacy and relaxation is not infringed upon. The chef is amazing. Combining flavors, textures and color to enhance an almost 100% locally sourced gourmet breakfast and dinner. Their seasonal rotating menu is unique and the signature Tripp Lake Pizza should not be missed. The house salad was delicately seasoned so that even I liked the radishes - sliced paper thin with a burst of salt. Our dinner did not disappoint, The chicken was elegantly prepared and full with flavor with a unique sweet potato sauce. A satisfying meal with the added bonus of being healthy! The Bartender at the Den is gifted - creating signature drinks like The Leaf Peeper (combining Gin and spiced pear cordial) While also crafting mocktails that satisfy elevated flavors and experience of a beverage by the fire - try The Dry Shoreline a combination including pomegranate juice, honey, nutmeg, sage and soda water. All presented with style in the perfect glass for the occasion. On to our accommodations- the cozy quiet Eagles Nest cabin is situated only a short distance from the main house. The laid back luxury is paired with a gas fireplace homemade cookies and fresh spring water. Ever mindful of using resources to the full, the In. Provides a refillable glass bottle to keep you hydrated. The linens and robes are luxurious, no scratchy terry cloth here. Nothing like wrapping yourself in this robe after your 60 minute session Fire and Ice therapy Elegant sauna and Ice bath. Drink in the view out the glass wall and enjoy infused water, fruit and a cup of tea to warm you after that icy plunge! You will want to book it again- it’s well worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our last night my one thought was I wish I could have heard loons calling- being late November I didn’t have the window open… but Wolf Cove does not disappoint! As I walked to view Tripp Pond before our departure I was delighted to hear from somewhere down the pond that unmistakable mournful call. A perfect ending to a restful weekend

Incredible inn. Serene atmosphere. Welcoming staff-- not overbearing yet always available. Satisfying menu options. While they have expanded as an elopement/private wedding venue, I never felt shirked or shuffled into a corner as a solo guest. Bonus recommendation per innkeepers' recommendation: go to Poland Provisions!

What a beautiful site...by the lake in fall! Geoff and Nicole and all of the staff are welcoming, warm and attentive. We enjoyed a cocktail in the charming bar and a perfect pizza dinner. Sitting outside in peace and joy! We didn't experience the outdoor sauna this time...but there's aways next time. We loved our room, breakfast with a view...and then we had to leave. We have already told our friends in Italy that they must come:)

The Wolf Cove Inn is a beautiful lake front property. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The Inn was impeccably decorated and the views were stunning. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

Beautiful bed and breakfast close to Bates College. My daughter and I stayed here for the start of the new school year at Bates. We had a great time! The beautiful house and gardens are a very nice welcome! The staff and owners are so courteous and lovely. They are so happy to accommodate you and want you to have a memorable experience. We were welcomed with a nice note and fresh cookies and water. Food was phenomenal, one night we had a fresh ordered pizza with vegetables from the garden! The views and the grounds are breathtaking. One morning I had a delicious breakfast with a view of the lake outside. Our room was cozy and well decorated. This bed and breakfast is gorgeous and nicely decorated with a Maine theme. We can’t wait to go back! We had a wonderful time! More hotels need to learn from this kind of hospitality and greatness. A+! Stay here!
