During our tour of Sri Lanka, we booked two nights at Rainforest Edge. A beautiful location with stunning views. Getting there is quite an adventure in itself! We had to transfer to a hotel van to get up the mountain. The hotel manager and staff are super friendly and do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The food was amazing, with a top-notch chef! We had the best hike ever up the mountain with the hotel manager and the friendly pool attendant. They explained everything about herbs, trees, teas, and more. We soaked our feet in a natural fish spa and stayed with the locals in a cottage! Some maintenance could be done, but the rooms and public areas were very clean! Definitely worth a 5-star rating!

A thrilling and exciting experience. The architecture has embraced nature so closely I felt really felt one with it. Don’t expect 5* comforts. The resort is eco friendly and expect and experience the novelty and the materials used in the construction. The food we had was the best we had in Sri Lanka. We could not have wished for better, kinder and friendlier staff. Most importantly Rohan was magnificent. His personality made our stay memorable.

We had a great experience in this beauyful hotel near the rainforest. The view is incredible. The nature is so near, you will see birds, frogs and many more. The pool was very special - a natural pool like we have never seen it Everything was clean and the staff was very kind great food also

Wunderschönes Resort mitten im Dschungel. Perfekt zum entspannen. Der Inhaber war extrem bemüht (Service 10/10) und hat sehr viel Wert auf Details gelegt. Mit Blumen wurde alles dekoriert und Sprüche wie "Have a nice day" oder "welcome to sri lanka" dekoriert. Es gab einen wunderschönen Naturpool an dem man entspannen und runterfahren konnte. Wir hatten Glück und waren die einzigen Gäste im Resort. Er hat für uns einfach so ein Privatdinner direkt am Pool mit Sicht auf den Dschungel organisiert. Es war wundervoll. Wir haben auf unserer 15 tägigen Rundreise nie so gut gegessen wie dort. Der beste Sri Lankan Food den wir hatten. Das Zimmer war auch ein Traum. Das Badezimmer war offen mit Sicht auf den Dschungel. Wir waren leider nur zwei Tage dort und hätten noch länger verweilen können. Es war wundervoll. Herzlichen Dank für den top Service. Würden immer wieder kommen

Wat een prachtige locatie en geweldige gastvrije mensen! Niets was teveel en het eten was heerlijk! Dit is echt een verborgen juweel, weg van de drukte!
