Our stay at SeaFort Resort in Murud-Dapoli was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in a lush organic garden, the resort is surrounded by native kokum, jackfruit, mango trees, and a vibrant tapestry of flowering plants that burst into colour every morning. The chirping of countless local birds—kingfishers, mynas, and sunbirds—filled the air, making each walk through the property a delight for nature lovers. The scenic village route leading to the nearby beaches is incredibly charming. Winding amid coconut groves and swaying palms, it offers glimpses of traditional Konkani homes and the occasional grazing cattle. Reaching the soft-sand shores is just a short stroll (about 10 minutes), and the seclusion means you practically have the beach to yourself. We even spotted dolphins dancing on the horizon during sunrise—a truly dreamy sight. Our room boasted a private balcony with a view of the greenery, and waking up to the sight of jackfruit and mango-laden branches just outside was a treat. The in-house restaurant serves a blend of local Konkani and global cuisine, with seafood curries that were bursting with coastal flavour. We especially enjoyed the fresh kokum-based drink—a delicious refreshing twist! The staff is impeccable and very helpful. Room service was quick (which is a huge plus)
