ONLY COME HERE IF YOU WANNA RUIN YOUR HAPPINESS: • NO INTERNET OR WIFI- Their best room- the cottage has NO WIFI CONNECTION. And don’t even think about Mobile Data, there’s no mobile network in that secluded property!! • STAFF SERVICE IS WORST. If you complain to their “unprofessional” GM Mr SHASHANK SINGH about complaints like no WiFi or no Tandoor (they don’t use tandoor if the NUMBER OF GUESTS IS FEW!!!) he will get rude, cheap and you will feel threatened!! • Overall there are better options available in Ranikhet.

Chevron Rosemount is a paradise, superb location excellent ambience and peaceful retreat in the lap of Mother Nature. The divine feeling one gets watching majestic Himalayas especially during the Sunrise and Sunset just can’t be defined in words. A perfect getaway for any age group. The food and service is amazing. I was in meditative spirit during my sojourn here. Great value for money.

We had visited with our office staff. A heritage hotel with lush green in the deep forest. If you want to rejuvenate yourself then I personally recommend this paradise. Well maintained property with lavish rooms, nice cottages and a lovely landscaped with Himalayan view. Hospitality and housekeeping staff have so nicely attended us. Foods quality just like home. I will definitely plan with family and friends in coming year. All the best to all of you ROSIES…

Ranikhet me ye restaurant kafi upar ki taraf hain isiliye yaha ka mosam kafi thanda hain, or yaha ka mahol ek dam shant hain, or mere liye sabse best cricket ke liye ground tha jo ki yaha par kafi achha tha. sath hi yaha par walk ke liye long road ghane jungle ke sath tha.

The resort has a total of about 12 rooms. 3 are in the outhouse. 1 room at GF and 2 rooms at FF have side entry. 1 room on GF is next to reception. Approach to all the remaining rooms on FF is from inner staircase. 2 rooms on FF have entry through a large room, which affects the privacy badly. These 2 rooms also have separate exit through a very inconvenient spiral stair case, not safe for children. Except the three rooms in the outhouse, all rooms are large, some huge, very well furnished with a mix of old royal and modern furniture and carpets etc. The toilets are clean and well maintained. The outhouse rooms are just ordinary. There are too small with queen size bed. A lot needs to be done to the washrooms. By any standards these much below the requirements. Tiles, fittings, door and window panes, all are substandard and not maintained. The dining hall is large & can accommodate almost all guests at a time. Again, most of the decoration is with old items of the bungalow including paintings. The breakfast spread is just ordinary with limited variety. Almost same can be said for meals. Though they happily serve any special de***d, within their limited resources. The staff and the ***ager are very polite and eager to serve, even going a bit out of their duties. The lawns are quite huge and very well maintained. One can relax and sun bathe in winters amidst tall tree jungle, watching and listening to a variety of birds. The landscaping is very attractive giving a grand look.

Stayed for one night in June’22. Chevron Rosemount is situated at a quiet place with nice scenic view. It is a heritage property with nice architecture. We were allotted a room in the first floor with glass windows overlooking mountain / garden, though due to cloudy weather we could not get any view. The walk to 1st floor was through a narrow steel stairs, may be inconvenient for Sr. Citizens. The hotel is not a very big one with having around 16 rooms, a beautiful lawn with sitting provisions, a restaurant providing foods on al-carte basis. Hotel also has parking provisions. The room was spacious with wooden flooring, maintained well and fitted with a king size comfortable bed, TV, one pedestal fan and sofa / chairs. The washroom was okay / clean and provided with towels and small soap, however water pressure was low. We had evening tea / snacks, breakfast and dinner at inhouse restaurant, which was served on order / ala-carte basis . The food options were somewhat limited, foods were reasonably tasty, staffs were courteous and responsive. Overall a good option to stay at Ranikhet.

Cantonment is the best place in Ranikhet to stay, since it is the most charming part of town. Rosemount is a lovely British bungalow that has been converted into a hotel. Large spacious rooms with an attached dressing room was a bonus ( room 102). Excellent food, which was a high point of the hotel Charming garden where you can enjoy the weather and possibly grab some meals. An excellent option for Ranikhet, since it offers excellent walking trails and quiet environment.

Excellent Resort, delicious food. Very good location. Enjoyed a lot. Must visit this resort. The staffs are very helpful and humble. Having breakfast in the lawn with himalayan view is totally different experience. We liked a lot.

Luxury with in lap of nature. Gorgeous himalayan view with peace, flora and fauna everywhere. Very supportive staff with delicious is food ice on the cake. Wifi & ample parking available. Inside you feel the rich heritage culture which is sync with modern era facilities. Definitely must visit property you can
