I really needed a vacation so we choose something nice and Alps and went. First impression: we’ve been pampered with room upgrade! It is an amazing place. Everything have been great. We even prolonged our stay for 3 more nights. This time there were no upgrade so we moved to the originally booked type of room - well, balcony was a bit smaller, “what a deal”! 😂 I am saying, that rooms just just wonderful. When I came in first I couldn’t believe my eyes I AM STAYING HERE??? Luxury, but a cozy type. Food was great, just nothing more or less. What I kind of disliked was standing in line to get meat/fish and then they’d give you the tiny portion. Yes, you can ask for more. But still made me a bit uncomfortable. Live music in restaurant on Fridays, such a highlight. Very welcoming cozy kamin room/bar. I spent there quite some hours at early evenings with my book by fire. Saunas (several I side and one panoramic outside) and 2 swimming pools were great. Location is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but all surrounded by nature and there are several trails starting straight from hotel. I loved it. Also very dog friendly! I never met such a service for furry friends in other hotels: blanket, bowl, toilet baggies and even leckerlies! Though, hotel itself is quite on the hill, so if you don’t like hikes all the time, that’s probably not the right location. Simply even to walk your dog before sleep is to literally go up the steep hill.

This is our second visit to Rehlegg in under one year and we just love it so much. It is a most wonderful hotel, with fantastic staff, facilities and food. The sauna complex is incredible and we took advantage of the daily programme in the sauna and steam room, as well as swimming in both the indoor and outdoor pools. The food served in the hotel is utterly delicious and it is lovely to try some of the local dishes. This time we even borrowed the hotel's electric car for half a day to drive further up the mountains to go for a walk to enjoy the incredible scenery the area has to offer. It is so beautiful! The staff are really attentive and take great care to make your stay as homely and comfortable as possible. The room was amazing, the bed super comfortable and the views over the mountain incredible. This is a really special place and we will return.

We returnto Hotel Rehlegg every year - everything about the service, the location and amenities is fantastic and the food is just pure perfection. We recommend you to anyone who will listen! Thank you as always for a perfect experience!

Wonderful place to stay! The area is gorgeous and the property is well maintained. So much to do and see. Excellent resort to lay back and relax.

Stayed here as part of a walking holiday. Beautiful setting, fantastic facilities and great staff. Spa and indoor pool are particularly good and welcome after a long hike in the hills. Food is really good and the staff were excellent in helping out when one of our group was poorly.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of the service, facilities, quality and friendliness of staff. Although one of the more expensive accommodation options in the area, we feel it represented good value. We were upgraded to a suite for our 5 night stay because our initial room allocated was over the indoor sauna and far too warm. We do feel that this room should be better insulated or taken out of service. We also found the bed far too soft on our first night, but after the cleaning staff provided quality bed boards, we slept very well in this relaxing and tranquil hotel. As our issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently, it did not undermine our overall impression of the stay at all.

We loved every moment at this hotel. We were looking for a hotel in the Bavarian Alps where we could explore the area, enjoy the Alpine beauty and relax. The Berghotel delivered! The location in Ramsau is excellent with easy access to many beautful parts of the Berchesgarten region, Eagle's Nest, Konigsee, Salzburg and great hiking. The view from our room was stunning. We greatly enjoyed relaxing on our balcony after a day out. The room itself was well-designed with comfortable beds. Our booking came with half board so we enoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel daily. The food and the service was excellent. We tried many Bavarian dishes and all was delicious. We were non-German speakers and the staff quickly switched to English when they realized we did not speak German. This made us feel very welcome. If we ever have the chance to return to this area, we will definitely stay at the Berghotel again.
