We had a lovely 2 nights stay at Surwahi Social Ecoestate Kanha. The warm welcome by Kaki ji made us feel at home instantly. Our mud suite was spacious, cool, and beautifully designed, with a very clean bathroom and great ventilation.We enjoyed a peaceful nature walk around the property, spotting birds, butterflies, and bugs. Stargazing at night was a magical experience, especially for the kids. The Gond art workshop by Sanjay ji and the visit to the rice farm where we even joined in cropping were unique and fun.The food was delicious and homely, thanks to Pradeep ji. Narendra ji and Anil made sure everything was taken care of with a smile. Overall, it was a refreshing eco-stay that brought us closer to nature and local culture. Highly recommended!

I have found THE best place to stay while in Kanha and it will be this property Surwahi Social Ecostate Kanha where I had a unique experience which is usually not found in other homestay. The Homestay is an attraction itself with numerous options to engage in. One will never get enough of this place. It stands true to its name as every component here is a sign of sustainability. It has huge rooms and dorms which were undoubtedly clean with eco-toilets. The way they have designed the water harvesting system is visible through our eyes and I can't tell you how beautiful it looks when it rains. The best part is the open kitchen which gave me an immense pleasure to watch the food been cooked right in front of my eyes. The staff were also very helpful during my stay. It can be seen that the host of the property, Mr. Ankit has put his heart and soul by giving the touch of local in every corner of this homestay. I would highly recommend this homestay for your next visit to Kanha.

I recently stayed at Surwahi Social Ecostate in Kanha and it was unforgettable. Ankit, our host, was very responsive and passionate about sustainability, evident throughout the property. The hospitality was exceptional, with Pradeep Ji's meals being a highlight. Narendra ji the caretaker was also very helpful and kind. The rustic design and eco-friendly approach, including a natural swimming pool, made the stay special. Waking up to birdsong and visiting the nearby Banjar River were delightful. For a unique, nature-centric retreat, Surwahi Social Ecostate is perfect. I look forward to returning soon.
