We enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is centrally located and we enjoyed the historic charm of the building. The rooftop terrace and various sitting areas make it quite comfortable. Highly recommend dining in the hotel restaurant. Not only is it convenient but we found the food to be high quality. Would definitely stay here again

We stayed a couple of nights at the Carlota Hotel, and it was an excellent experience. The building is lovely, our room was large with the bed and bathroom on a mezzanine level with a living room below, and the service was very good. Breakfast was huge, and good value. Overall, it was good value for money, though it's not cheap by Quito standards.

We took our teenaged kids (13 and 16) to South America for the first time and could not have chosen a better place to call home for our days in Quito. As an Architect I loved how well the original structure was reimagined. As a family we loved our incredibly friendly hosts (Paula and Juan Carlos in particular - gracias). The facilities were at once highly polished and yet quaintly of their place - including the ground-floor bistro that served up the tastiest daily breakfast we could have imagined. Carlota's location within the Old Town made it incredibly easy to safely explore the city on foot - something we highly recommend to any parent looking for a reprieve from screen-time requests:).

Very nice, stylish boutique hotel, just in the heart of Quito. Everywhere in the historical center of Quito is in the walking distance. We had a free upgrade and had a very spacious "loft" room. The room was furnished very stylish, and very comfortable. Despite the room was overlooking to the street, we did not have any noise from outside thank to double windows. They serve nice breakfast at the lobby. Extremely nice and welcoming hotel staff, makes your stay a really pleasant one. Checkin and checkouts were really fast. They arrange airport transfers upon your request, which is highly advisable.

After six months of researching hotels in Quito, I’m thrilled that I chose the Carlotta Hotel. The property was immaculate, and the rooms had a charming, nostalgic feel. The service was exceptional; they addressed all my questions even before booking and assisted with transportation and recommendations throughout our stay. Angélica and Miguel went above and beyond by waiting up late for our arrival. The rooms were fantastic with clean, crisp linens, and though the bathroom was small, the overall atmosphere was cozy. The high ceilings, exposed brick, and shutters added to the charm. This was one of the most delightful stays I’ve experienced, capturing a genuine Spanish ambiance in a quaint setting. After exploring other small hotels, we decided to cancel our subsequent reservations and return to the Carlotta Hotel. We stayed in both the Loft and the Camporia rooms and loved every moment. The bisto was always yummy and the service and chef was so attentive and caring! We enjoyed ceviche, steak and of course red wine both at the restaurant and rooftop bar.

This hotel was amazingly beautiful, and the service was over and beyond expectations. Paola, the The receptionist was awesome. We needed a Medical item for my son-in-law. She helped us find a location that had it and arranged for pick up and delivery to us Which was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful and the welcome snack was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and it was two blocks from the main Square.
