I Castagnoni is a lovely, historically rich place nestled in the hills of Monferrato. It is a prefect location for exploring the local countryside and all it has to offer, from top notch restaurants to lovely wineries. I highly recommend bringing your running shoes to properly explore the surrounding hills on foot.

A lovely stay, character, charm and service The owners were very accommodating as the booking did not indicate that they closed at 8pm in the low season. They received us at 10pm. The experience was friendly, clean and very characteristic. If you are staying in the area I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Not happy to give this review .As Italian i'm prod of my country but this place is a tourist trap. This was one of my worse experience in 45 year I'm travel around the world . Owners are farmer not very polite managing an old building and do not have any attention to customers . Is very expensive , Room are not in good condition and with very old furniture . People allergic to dust avoid this hotel. We have dinner but they do not kook and they use a catering . Meal cost is twice what you eat in a very good osteria .Absolutely low standard , low quality and very expensive . We have dinner in several other place where quality was way better at lower price even half price what we paid at Castagnoni . Wine is not good and way to expensive . There are many other very nice agriturismo in the area wher we had exellent food and very good biological wine . I need also to mention that only other guet was Russian and at breakfast nothing was left and have to wait fro eggs and other food . Rssian fil all the plate and eat half and we have to wait . VERY VERUY BAD EXPERIENCE AT VERY HIGH PRICE .

The hotel and the surrounding area are beautiful. The area offers a lot of space and privacy, ideal for rest and recreation. The home baked breakfast cakes where delicious. We rented electric bikes trough the hotel, would recommend that.

Located amidst the hills in Piedmont, with superb landscape view. Owners welcome you personally, explaining the history ripe building and the collection of objects and artifacts they have carefully selected for furnishing this very very nice place. Castagnoni is full of history, dating back to Savoia Kingdom: heaven for a history fan like me. The rooms: each one different, with its own character. My colleague was delighted getting one with canopy bed! The place: walking in the park, looking at surrounding landscape: peace for mind and soul, even if we were on business trip! The surrounding: owners are very helpful advising you best place for dining (Castagnoni is a B&B), you won't be disappointed. A perfect place for starting a relaxing week in the middle of Piedmont hills Thanks a lot, grazie mille! Bis bald, Servus!
