Food was terrible, pool chairs were reserved at 7:00 am by guests who weren’t even at the pool…staff wasn’t friendly

The Daily Entertainment group they had there was fantastic. Issac was awesome and made everyone feel like they were his friends. The nightly shows were great also and watched all of them.

The grounds were beautiful. Most staff were friendly. The bar tenders were excellent. The entertainment staff were excellent. The resort is old and tired. Our bathtub backed up with black water and sand the hotel did fix it. However, the tub was never cleaned in 7 days it had a black ring. Bathroom towels were stained, and the shower combo is unsafe to climb into. I took pictures and showed them to guest services. They moved us for our 2nd week . Same old furniture, but the room clean. The lobby furniture is old and tired. The pool area is slippery. The pool furniture is dirty and stained the pool towels are the same. There are bridges across the pool there was black tape across them because they are slippery the tape was peeling off and people were tripping on it. A guest removed the tape. Finally, the 2nd week they put matts on the bridges. The bars would run out of different liquor and drink mixes on a daily basis. You are not allowed in the Ambar lobby area, for a cocktail and this was not explained to us on arrival, you could go to the sports bar next door. They have a small area at the beach that has a sign adult only Aquamarine, I asked a security guard why there were different color bracelets in our beach area including kids one day. I was told they were allowed. Odd. The restaurants are also inconsistent. We read the reviews before our 2-week trip and always have an open mind, but the reviews are correct.

Had an amazing vacation! Entertainment staff members were great and we had a lot of fun with the activities by the pool and events in the evenings!

Loved this resort! The property grounds are huge as it’s 7 resorts in 1. All the dinners we had were delicious. Travel tip- make sure you reserve spots before you go with the app as spots and times fill up. It was nice that they had golf carts to take you to different parts of resort too. Pool was great with entertainment all day. Only downside was the beach area. Was very crowded and lounge chairs were on top of each other. Make sure you bring an extra electric ***** as they had very limited outlets. None by the bed which ******. Night entertainment was great as well! Would definitely go back to this resort again!

First I found a roach in my room. Next, the entire staff is trying to hustle you out of money when you ask a question about going somewhere. Next I was told the restaurant are free however I was tricked into signing a paper and forced to pay for this meat before I was allowed to check out. Then was grabbed roughly on my shoulder by black guy in brown hat in the front. All of the bartenders are nice but this is the worst hotel I have ever visited not to mention we got ate up at night and the food tasted horrible. I’ve been to eight countries and this was my worst experience ever.

The food is ok and the drinks were average. Property is clean and beautiful. We stayed at the Aquamarine rooms are dated but clean. The entire property is huge but getting around is easy with trolleys running every 5 mins.

The room they gave us upon arrival was not what we expected. It was run down and old looking. We asked for another room and they did provide us with one the next day but we had to pack up and move the next day. Our new room was better but the AC was leaking all over the wall and floor. They came and fixed it but it had damaged the wall. Then a couple of days later our bed broke, the light broke, the electical outlets were so loose that our plugs kept falling out so hard to charge our phones. I think the rooms need some renovations. When we wanted a late check out we were told to ask the day before check out which we did then were told to come before noon on check out day. We had an agreement with one employee that we would pay the $35 late checkout fee and would check out at 5pm. When it came time to pay on that day they wanted cash. We didn't have cash so I told them to add it to my credit card bill. She insisted she wanted cash but I had none and told her so. She then told us that we would have to check out at 4pm instead. It left a bad taste in my mouth. We can't pay cash so now you want to give us less time? We decided to pack up and leave the room right away because it felt like a bit of a hussle. I've never had a problem with late check out and charging it to my card before. This resort was very big on asking for everything in cash all the time. Very annoying. The maid was so wonderful though. Excellent service and so friendly. She was the best!

The staff, pool and beach are amazing. Food at all the ala carts are great and buffet food was surprisingly good We requested a late check out and that has been the only hassle of the entire trip
