I am currently staying at the Royal Orchard Inn for a week, with a booking that extends to a total of 33 nights. While the room and location are decent, my experience has been profoundly impacted by the unacceptable service I have encountered. The male manager on night duty is a significant source of frustration. His arrogant demeanor and unprofessional behavior have made my stay quite unpleasant. Rather than providing assistance to guests, he seems more interested in belittling and humiliating them. This approach not only reflects poorly on him but also on the establishment as a whole. During my interactions with him, I was taken aback by his dismissive attitude and lack of respect for guests’ concerns. In addition to his inappropriate behavior, I have also experienced serious issues with the cleaning service. I discovered a missing $100 note from my folder, which raises significant concerns about the vetting process for housekeeping staff. Such lapses in security and professionalism are alarming and unacceptable. When I attempted to address these issues with the night manager, I was met with complete indifference. He offered no resolution and seemed wholly uninterested in rectifying the situation. When I inquired about his qualifications in hotel management, his inability to provide a satisfactory answer only underscored his unpreparedness for this role. It is troubling to encounter such a lack of professionalism in a place that should prioritize guest satisfaction. I had higher expectations from the Royal Orchard Inn, especially given my positive experiences at other locations. It is disheartening that the behavior of a single staff member can overshadow the overall quality of the hotel. The management has not approached me to address these concerns or offer any form of apology, which only adds to my disappointment. While the hotel boasts a great location and pleasant views, the service, particularly from the night manager, has been exceedingly poor. I urge potential guests to carefully consider these factors before making a reservation, as my experience suggests that the current staff dynamics may detract from an otherwise promising stay.
