I’m not much of a reviewer, having travelled vastly across the globe and stayed in over a 100 hotels by now, this is my only second review of a hotel property, simply because my experience was mesmerising. I have experienced the hospitality of the ritz carlton Pune in its full glory during last month (Jan 2023). I have experienced the property from a standpoint of residing there as a travelling guest and also hosting a wedding (my sisters) last month. Though as a person I am very critical and difficult to please, I was left with absolutely nothing to complain at the end of my stay. Ritz went above and beyond to take care of me and my guests paying attention to the finest level of detail (attention to detail is something of high priority for a corporate lawyer like me  ) I was sold at the property right when I walked in for the first time. Right from the amazing hotel lobby to the classy interiors all around to the extremely cozy and spacious rooms. Not to mention the impeccable service the hotel has. The warm greetings and smiling faces make you feel absolutely happy and I couldn’t compare any other metro city property to this hotel and immediately decided to host my events here. Right from the initial negotiations with the property I could sense the quality and expertise they bring to the table, I understood much later the reason as to why the hotel wouldn’t drop their rates to match the competition, because the standards they follow are above any of the competing properties. I was assisted by Ms. Priyanka Gupta from the sales team and Mr. Sachin Didolkar (head of sales) during initial discussions with the property for the event. They were extremely helpful in curating the right structure for the events and very transparent and confident about the experience that awaited me. They sat with me through every detail and thoroughly discussed how I could optimize my events at the property. (it’s the experience that they had that helped me optimally choose the right venues and details for the events). I would really thank Priyanka for all the support and patience she had for us from the first discussion till the last day of the event. Once I closed the commercials with the sales team (which was also a very smooth and in a tasteful manner), we went forward with the planning of the event. Ms. Anindita Dasgupta, from the events team took forward the planning of the entire event. She ***** with Mr. Srikant (head of events) have taken the utmost effort and detail to organize each element of my events. I have never had a smoother and more warm experience with a hotel when it comes to events. They have gone over and above to ensure the events were an absolute success. Not just from a professional place, but both Anindita and Srikant became my friends by the end of because of the sheer amount of dedication they put towards it, and I am very thankful to them. They stayed for every part of the event no matter the time of day or hour to ensure all was smooth
