Rooms give a refreshing and Panaromic view of the natural landscape Food at restaurant is very good and catered to Indian vegetarian cuisine Rooms are spacious and well furnished Lastly very courteous staff which makes your stay extra comfortable

Useless property . Cleanliness is a no no, staff is very rude to customers and food quality is poor. Will strongly not recommend this property to anyone. The towels, bed linen are dirty. Hot water is not available 24 hrs. Room service during lunch time was not being serviced.

We had booked this hotel via our travel agent as a part of the tour package. There were limited options for Punakha and this had reasonable reviews. What we liked: Good location. Check in and checkout were quite fast. Connecting rooms were provided though not requested so added a bonus point for this! Staff is polite and helpful Property is clean Food is good. As it was off season and hardly any other guests, as we had breakfast & dinner in our package, we were provided with an option to select anything from the menu as there was no buffet. Food was tasty. Thanks to the chef who provided good food, we rated this resort higher. Its walking distance from Chimi Lhakhang if we walk through the fields Has great views of the valley What we did not like: Rooms have creaky wooden boards Property looks a bit dated Room heating could be improved a bit and bathrooms are quite chilly Water heating & water supply needs improvement Lastly, a point which caused us to remove a point from our review was that we had booked two rooms and one of the occupant was not well. So both days she hardly had anything for breakfast or dinner. To avoid food wastage we had even asked the restaurant staff accordingly and had limited food. But as the person was not well had asked for a couple of fruits like apple or orange, as the person was not in a position to even travel. So the hotel charged us even for that. Though we did not mind paying, as we have traveled many locations, first time saw a hotel charging and usually many hotels provide a fruit basket if requested without any charges.

Green by name and green by nature as the outside is a pale green. The rooms are outside the main building and on the hill behind it, they are all one would expect of a high class UK hotel with the bonus of having absolutely stunning views across the valley. The rooms are large, perfectly appointed and with very comfortable beds. The food they offer is to the standard one would expect from a place of this quality.

Property is quite huge & impressive! You get a superb view of the valleys & mountains sitting in your rooms. Food is quite good and tasty too. The owner (local lady) is very sweet & co-operative! They have an extended terrace at the 1st floor level facing the valleys & mountains which is an ideal place to sit in the evenings around the bon fire.

In a slightly run down former capital city of Bhutan, this was a pleasant place to spend a few nights. Elaborate albeit cheaply made decor. Nice bathtub and ample hot water. Up on a hill with a good view. The Indian food was a welcome change.
