Me and my friends booked a package through on the beach , once we got off the plane and arrived at our hotel, we found it was all pitch black no one was there. We could not gain access. It was past midnight and we was shattered and just wanted to get into our room after an hour of trying to contact the hotel. We found a number hidden at the side of the front door. We then rang this number and got told to go to this other hotel which was a 25 min walk away with all our suitcases etc. to be told our hotel had been shut down for months and they couldn’t understand how we could have booked to stay there for 1 week. We was disgusted as we paid alot of money and the hotel we had to stay in was defiantly a downgrade. We will never ever be booking through on the beach again and we will be telling all our friends and family the same. We have tried contacting on the beach to complain and speak to someone about our experience but we have had no response. Very upset and devastated as it ruined our whole holiday.

Paid 50 euros holding deposit upon arrival to cover any breakages. Was told would get this back night before returning home this didn't happen so chased it up again was informed would be in my account on the day of departure still didn't happen have emailed twice and called reception and spoke to them still no sign of transaction being reversed. Be careful when people with your holding deposit.

I have travelled to Gran Canaria for a holiday 5/6 times over the last 10 years. I really like this hotel for price. It has a small shop on site and a small bar / cafe near the pool. It is on top of the hill overlooking Amadores beach and the beach is a 15/20 min walk downhill. 5/10 mins up and across the top is the Europa centre with loads of restaurants, bars and shops. I longer walk downhill is the walk into Puerto Rico with more of the same. I have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions and would not hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed for a week with my boyfriend and it wasn’t the best place we’ve ever stayed. Upon entry into the room there was ants all over the kitchen floor and throughout our stay our room only got cleaned twice therefore the ant situation just worsened. On a better note, the balcony was amazing and so big & it had the sun on it all day! The beds were half decent but the sheets had a few hairs on them when we first arrived which is very off-putting. The worst part wasn’t the cockroach in the shower or the ants, it was the fact there was no aircon and we had to wait 3 days until they gave us a fan which was useless as it was clearly cheap and very old. The night staff member Manuel was lovely and very helpful and even opened the shop for us past closing time. The food is a hit or miss but decent price if you don’t wanna walk anywhere. Beach is too far to walk and about 7 euro in a taxi. Overall wouldnt stay here again.

After we lowered our expectations reading previous reviews, on arrival we were really pleasantly surprised. We had an 11 night stay. Apartment in need of updating but was spotlessly clean, towels changed almost daily. Staff friendly and really helpful. Shared areas and Pool cleaned daily every morning. Excellent value for money, have paid more and had much lower quality accommodation.

AWFUL place. Do not stay here. Infested with cockroaches and ants. Coming up from the shower drain also. It was so bad we had to check out early and book into another hotel who luckily could accommodate us. We had room 21. Cockroaches were running riot under the beds etc. I had severe anxiety from being there and got numerous bites. Cracked tiles throughout the complex. Pool also had no lifeguard and did not get cleaned. There was a mosquito laying dead in the pool for 2 days until my partner removed it himself. The only way of describing the experience is comparing it to the netflix series of the Cecil hotel. Our holiday only started after we got out of there. AVOID at all costs.
