푸에르토모렐로스 Playground 근처 호텔

The title of my review was a quote from one of the hotel staff. The photos posted by the hotel online are either very old or were staged as this hotel has not been maintained. We booked a 2 room side by side vacation for our family including children over Christmas via *********** and confirmed our reservation. Upon our arrival late at night we had to sign the hotel paperwork which included notice that there was a charge if we left any stains or blood on the sheets. We were given 2 rooms on separate floors and one did not have the king bed as confirmed but had 2 double beds. There was blood on the wall in one room and 3 of the 4 beds had stains and blood marks on the sheets and pillow cases. Neither rooms had safes and we were only given one key for each room and told not to lose it and we also had to leave it each day for the maid staff to access our rooms. In one room on the third floor, the bathroom had no fixtures to hang towels or toilet paper and had lime stains on the fixtures and rust marks throughout. There was a stick to lock the sliding glass door. There was only one plug usable and only one side of it was not broken. The closet door was missing and there was a maintenance closet with a broken lock that opened into a cavity that went from the room to the ground floor and there was a hole in the room in the cavity. A person could fall down this large cavity and die. The lamp in the room was almost more rust than chrome. The air conditioner was also broken and would not sweep and the TV didn’t work. The other room had window in the bathroom that lead to the public hallway that did not lock, significant black mold in the bathroom and bedroom and the bathroom door know was hanging out of the door. We also found garbage in the closet from a prior occupant. I asked the front desk clerk for the 2 rooms side by side we paid for and was told the hotel was full. When i asked about the blood stains on the sheets i was told their washer is not that good. We immediately called booking at our expense in the UK and also wrote to them to complain about the condition of the hotel and that we did not feel safe and the hotel was nowhere near what was posted online. Booking gave us various answers on each call and one agent said we could change hotels and they would refund our money. Big surprise Booking is now saying they NOT refund our money. The next morning we complained to the front desk and was told the manager was not available. The front desk worker told us the hotel is like McDonald's and does not match the photos. We were told we would have to seek a refund from Booking as the hotel does not have our money yet. We were advised to take lots of pictures and write to Booking as we are not the first people to complain about the state of the hotel and wanting a refund. This hotel is comparable to small, boutique hotel in the US. Common pool downstairs is small with only 10 pool side lounge chairs that are always taken. It was not clean and my kids eventually refused to go in after few days. However rooftop has a nice, clean adult 18+ only pool that has more chairs and covered tables and chairs area by a bar that was usually pretty empty with a nice view (if you are not traveling with minors). It has one primary restaurant for all meals ( no air conditioner at 70% humidity - yikes) that does not rotate menus ( does have separate breakfast, lunch, dinner menus but same everyday), room service, and one specialty Italian restaurant for dinner open few days a week when we were there. There is no air conditioned common area. None. If you want to get away from the Sun for a bit in a cool spot, it’s your room. No cool place to relax with a drink or play a game with your family. There really is not much of inside common area to speak of anyways but this was super annoying. Property is on the beach. Property being so tiny helps with how close you are to the ocean. The best area of the hotel was the rooftop but since no minors are allowed (even teens), I do not recommend for families. With a small common pool, barely any activities, no cooled area to hang out as a family, there is not enough to keep a family occupied. The upstairs adult only area is clean and nice, but there are so many adult only resorts that are so much bigger with way more diverse culinary options and amenities, why stay at a tiny hotel? Even at a great restaurant, eating the same menu gets old. With a restaurant that’s average, things got old very fast. We tried everything on the menu eventually trying to diversify but there were just not enough options. The quality was good but taste was bland. I think it would be good for folks on low sodium vegetarian diet though. We visit Mexico quite often and wanted to try something different from mega resorts in Cancun area, but this is far too much on the hotel side. We still wanted some nice resort amenities. What they did have was decent quality, DoubleTree level if you know the brand, but that is not what we were shooting for. Positives were - Puerto Morelos is very small but cute town less than a mile away and they have handful of bikes you can use or I just walked there. One of the biggest reef is right in front of the hotel and you can get a boat out there for $40/person that picks you up right at the beach in front of the hotel so you can snorkel for an hour or two. Ala cart menu kept us from gorging too much although we still ate more than we should’ve. :) Staff was friendly. This is a good hotel option for a brief stop. We were looking for a week-long pampering and with so many positive reviews we thought it would be great. But it unfortunately was a miss for us. We tried to make the best of it but we won’t be back.

전반적으로 우리는 여기에 머무는 것을 즐겼습니다. 우리는 2021 년 10 월 친구의 결혼식을 위해 왔으며이 리뷰에 대한 결혼식 특정 품목을 유지할 것입니다. 복합체에는 많은 활동이 있지만 우리는 친구를 만나고 수영장 옆에 매달려 먹고 마시기 위해 왔습니다. 전반적으로 이것은 기준에 부합합니다. 이 기간 동안, 그것은 여전히 매우 습했지만 수영장에 있기에 완벽했습니다 (꼭 결혼식 의상이 아닙니다!) 룸 서비스는 편리하지만 항상 빠르지는 않습니다. 특히 늦은 밤. 나는 우리를 위해 2 시간 + 1 저녁이라고 생각합니다. 내 의견으로는 룸 서비스 음식은 일부 레스토랑보다 좋았습니다. 결혼전 파티 말고 바닷가에 가지도 않았고 체크인시 COVID 테스트를 거쳐갑니다.

Every time I look back on my holi, I think of the hotel and how much I enjoyed staying here, & that I’m so glad we did as at first we weren’t sure as it’s not adults only. I remember the lovely scent when you walk in, cleanliness 10/10, interior is goals, my favourite was lunch time as there’s different food trucks from tacos, burger & chips, ceviche… Some days in the lobby they’ll also put out selection of biscuits/sweet treats to have with a hot drink. The breakfast buffet also amazing!!! I miss having their freshly cooked omelettes & the hashbrowns. They even have an ice cream bar. Quite honestly just enjoyed myself eating. We stumbled across a show once in the hotel as were waiting for a dinner table, took us by surprise as it was so good the entertainers.

Wow! This is a perfect getaway from the city life. In the middle of the Jungle with luxurious commodities. We stayed in Balam Bubble. 🛁Waking up in the atmosphere of the bubble is truly spectacular. 🥰 The food experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner is perfect. Ximena and Esther gave us excellent service at the restaurant and made some delicious drinks 🍸. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Don’t forget to jump into the cenote and pool. Having lived in the Riviera Maya for 13 years, I must say, this experience went beyond expectations!! 100% recommended.

처음부터 장소는 멋지게 보이고 객실은 매우 넓고 매우 편안한 침대를 가지고있었습니다. 이것은 불행히도 긍정적 인 피드백이 끝난 곳입니다. 수건으로 시작하겠습니다. 샤워기에서 나온 후 나는 깨끗한 접힌 수건으로 보이는 것을 열었고 평균 크기의 전팔 크기의 큰 갈색 스키드 마크 또는 혈액 얼룩이 그 위에있는 것을 보았습니다. 리셉션에서 불평하고 새 수건을 요청했지만 아무도 사과하거나 조금 이상해 보였던 우리 방에서 오래된 수건을 가져가겠다고 제안하지 않았습니다. 둘째, 나는 도시로 택시를 타고 요금을 청구 당했고, 운전자의 현금을 지불하고 운전자가 호텔에 들어 와서 접수 원에게 위임을 넘겨주는 것을 발견 한 후, 나는 리프트에서 내 방으로 떠난다고 생각했다. 리프트에 들어간 후 즉시 접시와 포크를 요청하는 것을 잊어 버렸습니다. 멕시코에 머무는 동안 충분한 시간을 보냈던이 매우 인기있는 ”관광 택시 허슬”을 목격했습니다. 둘째, 호텔 음식은 15 년 전 보드 음식의 경제 클래스와 동일했습니다. 객실에는 가운이나 슬리퍼가 없으며 바닥은 나무로되어있어 가격 대비 편안함이 약간 부족합니다. 파리와 모기는 호텔 전체에 있었고 특히 호텔 전체의 어느 곳에서나 휴식을 취하려고 할 때 매우 성가신 일이었습니다. 장소의 청결은 평균 이하이며 이것이 우리를위한 최종 핵심 포인트입니다. 운 좋게 우리는 Kiwi.com 스위스 인터내셔널을 지불하지 않았기 때문에 2 박 동안 만 머물렀고 우리는 비행을 놓쳤습니다. 특히 편안한 탈출을 원하는 커플이라면 여기에 머 무르지 않는 것이 좋습니다. 2 박만을위한 목적을 맞았습니다! Cozumel에 머무르고 AirBnB를 고용하는 것이 좋습니다. 우리는 5 개월 동안 머물렀고 매분마다 가치가 있습니다. 우리는 여전히 멕시코를 좋아합니다.
