Chettinad Manor

Without second thought you can book Chettinad Manor. We went as a family of 6 with kids. Enjoyed calm and peace everywhere. Temples and sightseeing places are few kilometers away. The owner Mr. Murugappan will be detailing you about the itinerary, he is down to earth person. Food were really good. Manager "Karthiga" will assist and welcome us with a sweet smile always. Such a wonderful women willing to fulfill our needs always. Note: Construction work were going on. When enquired with the owner, he said that it will be completed before November. 1st floor rooms are not having cup-boards and the furniture works are going on, check with them before booking about this. Two cycles are available to roam nearby.

This hotel has a lot of potential but it is under renovation and should not be trading. The rooms are spacious however the bathrooms in our room was very basic with no where to put toiletries, the plumbing was very poor i.e. the toilet leaked, hot was available but very hard to set, and overall the bathroom was not clean. The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good, and the manager Nagarajan did his best to ensure our stay was pleasant as could be and was very helpful organising sightseeing. As renovations were taking place there was consistent construction noise during the day. The location is good in a quiet little village and we had a very interesting tour by tuk tuk around other nearby villages visiting a large temple, antique market, and many of the mansions.

Joli petit hôtel dans un petit village très calme du Chettinad. Restauration récente d'une maison dans le style Chettinad. Chambres bien équipées sauf salle de bains où le lavabo est minuscule. Petits déjeuners et dîners simples mais très bons. Le manager est très facilitant pour nous aider à visiter cette région.
