Locanda Milia Etna

This place is simply magical. You find yourself immersed in nature, inside buildings that have been expertly architected and beautifully furnished. The food, the wine and the local gin were delightful - but best of all was the welcome and the service from the family run team here. You can get to the mountain in 10 minutes and have trails on your doorstep. If you are travelling to Sicily you simply must stop by this place to decompress for a day or two. We absolutely loved it here.

Honestly, one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily! The owner and hosts were unbelievably accommodating, the place is spotless, and so peaceful. In addition, the food and ambiance of the restaurant were topnotch! We could not have enjoyed ourselves more! 10 out of 10 experience!

Magic Place with very modern and clean rooms, delicious Food and very friendly people. It is a quiet and peaceful hide away, Perfect for couples and also Families that like the nature. Only 15 minutes away from refugio la sapienza to do Trips to the Etna.

We booked this hideaway for its proximity to our afternoon at Mt. Etna. We had read great reviews but this was even better than we imagined. The setting is rustic luxury/high design. The owner is charming and so hospitable. Our room was beautiful, with all the amenities and a great view. But the food for both breakfast and dinner was superb! My advice- if you are driving around Sicily- spend the afternoon in Catania and then head to Locanda Milia in time to check in and have aperitifs in the bubble or by the fire, then dinner….the contorni are outstanding….Go to Mt Etna the next day but come back and stay another night here. This place is so perfect that one night is just not enough.

Our last destination in our honeymoon - and definitely the best accommodation in Sicily! The rooms were such amazing and well designed, the atmosphere was comfortable, cozy and relaxing. This hotel fits perfectly in the nature! And then the staff were very helpful and super friendly! The restaurant was also cozy and food was delicious! Highly recommended to anyone who want to escape the city and have a luxurious stay in the Mount Etna.

We spent a wonderful time at Locanda Milia. The staff was very friendly, food was excellent and the place is very charming and exclusive (very few rooms). Despite the bad weather that prevented us to go to Etna, it added a special and mystical atmosphere to our stay. Thank you and looking forward to coming back to visit Etna.
