작센클렘므 호텔(Hotel Sachsenklemme)

A really first class overnight stop hotel near the Brenner Pass. Apple Maps located it a couple of km short, but it was easy to find on the A road parallel to the autobahn (not an issue). Hotel is immaculately presented and wonderfully clean. Rooms are spacious and the staff very friendly. You are right next to the autobahn and river, but the soundproofing is excellent (you won't hear them as you sleep). Breakfast very good and thoughtfully presented. Pizzeria/brewery next door very swanky and popular. No need to go anywhere else. All in all a great stopover and highly recommended.

Perfect on the way to Italy. Very Friendly staff. Excelentní breakfast. You do not hear the highway though you are close- perfect Windows. Too software bed. Big room.

Me and my family did like the hotell. It was close to the road and where just great. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Cant say other then i recommend the hotel.

Quaint from the outside, charming and modern from the inside. Wonderful family run hotel that made you feel welcome from the moment you walked in the door. Despite being located next to the autostrada, the hotel was quiet. Next door was a great brewery/restaurant. We look forward to staying sgain.

We have eaten here a few times over the years on our journey and were impressed the first few times, although the service can often be slow. Highlights are accessibility from the motorway and a playpark if you have kids. The beer is also good and their theme is quirky. From other experiences pizzas were acceptable and the ribs were good. The last trip will, however, remain in our memories as one of the worst lunches in history. Restaurant completely overcrowded, the few staff overworked and complete chaos at ordering and food delivery. One expects that when meat/pasta/pizzas are all ordered there might be some delay in serving but I doubt anyone truly expects the whole table to have finished while one pizza has still not arrived after 30 mins. When we brought it up to the ill mannered (not to mention bad tempered) owner he chose to yell at us in front of the whole restaurant rather than try to find a solution. Apparently, in a restaurant this size it is completely unreasonable to expect the pizza to communicate with the kitchen, or indeed for the servers to communicate to the clients that the pizza kitchen was overloaded and there would be at least a 30 minute wait for pizzas. Maybe this is why he has so few staff. Possibly he had a bad day, but I hope if you chose to eat there you lower your expectations, and prepare your armour if you dare to express your frustration at the terrible service.

See the full review on google maps by Hewey H On arrival we were warmly greeted by Peter, check in was smooth with a nice welcome gift of fruit and biscuits in this most comfortable accomodation. The hotel is beautiful and Open throughout the winter months and each weekend throughout the year in between. The room had two separate rooms with comfortable large double beds and warm heating to make it cosy. The restaurant downstairs served ample breakfast consisting of a broad selection of breads, pastries, fresh fruits, meats and cheeses to feed you for a day in the mountains only 12mins drive to Vipiteno. Although served as an open buffet it doesn’t give that feel of a buffet with all fresh ingredients and very helpful and friendly staff (including Peter) to help you out where you need. The hotel itself has an elevator for easy access and stairs should you need to work off the great Austrian/Italian food and wine you’ll enjoy in the region with ample parking for your car. Although it is close to autobahn on the map it is quiet and comfortable with no traffic noise whatsoever. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples and families coming to the area given its comfort and size of the rooms available plus being a good distance to skiing and attractions both to Vipiteno and fortezza directions. A massive thank you to Peter and the team there to make our stay as comfortable, easy and welcoming.

Amazing place !! I will say luxury hotel with luxury services and breakfast!! Very clean and fashionable ❤️ Breakfast have a lot of options on meats, fruits, cereal, cheese, yogurt, smoothies, coffee Maschine with all options u want, tea and even seeds for salat!! Impressed with that place ! For sure coming back !
