Maison d'hôte la Vallée des Figues

The hotel has a good hospitaly, good food, but the room is simple , not the best one, but for one night is enough. Come prepared if you dont like marrocco food, and bring some clothes for the night The bathroom is not the best . In general is a good experience for morroccan culture

The welcoming was warm and kind. Bob is the host and he’s someone you can rely on 100%. Quick and friendly. Hussein, a kind young man, served us the dinner, such a polite fella. The dinner was WOW. Wow, is not enough to describe the delicious meal honestly. Well done chef ( their mother :) ). In general such a pleasant experience. The room was super clean and soooo cozy, carpets and wooden ceiling definitely do the trick!

Arriving here, we expected something better, especially if you believe the reviews on tripadvisor. The room was big, but cold and dirty. Sheets weren't washed, hairs and stains from the people before us were still on the pillows. Mattress felt like a wooden plank, I have never felt this much pain trying to sleep. Only one plastic chair was provided. Water in the shower was either ice cold, or so hot that a shower wasn't possible. The room faced the road, fortunately there was not a lot of traffic, otherwise we would have been up all night. Food was ok, nothing more. Dining place was very unconfortable, the white lights make it even less cozy. The cooking workshop was hilarious, someone was just cooking, and we were there, constantly in their way of doing their thing. Ne-ver again!

Wonderful hostel on the way through the Middle Atlas. Very hospitable, delicious food, and a good terrace to linger outside in the evenings. The view from the terrace is also delightful. However, it's also recommended to take about an hour's walk through the valley to gather wonderful impressions of life in the Atlas. We were well taken care of!

Wow! Our stay here at Maison D’Hotes was divine. We were welcomed with open arms from our host, an authentic Berber man, Bob. He greeted us with his beautiful smile, kindness and open arms. We instantly felt we were home. The rooms were clean, warm and peaceful, with a cozy bed, blankets and heater. We slept like babies. To wake up and step onto the terrace, to overlook the most breathtaking and magical views of the Dades Valley, was mesmerizing. As the beautiful sun sets, the mountains move and the magic appears. Be still and enjoy this heaven under the stars. The traditional food was absolutely delicious, ready for us anytime we were ready. Thank you Bob and the team for all your warmth, generosity, and engaging conversations on the terrace. Highly recommended. Do not just pass by Maison D’Hotes, stay a night, three nights, a week, a lifetime. We will definitely be back our dear friend.

The owner Bob is very friendly and makes the best orange juice in marokko! The room is cozy and the heater is doing well! Breakfast-buffet is really good! You can do nice walks around. In the food hall you can find loads of books and games!
