It's a nice, small hotel, the decoration is modern and the room was very clean. A little bit outside the village, you can look from your window at the center. As we made an 7-days walk along the river Douro, we were very lucky to have a meal in the house. The mother of the owner cooked a delicious tasting meal for us. So that was a really wonderful surprise.

We stayed here as a part of a self guided bike tour. The hotel has a great terrace on the second floor where you can enjoy some food and drink. The staff is super helpful and goes above and beyond (e.g. when I asked if it was too late for cheese and meat board at 23:30, I was given a smile and asked where I wanted to eat it; and they did a load of laundry for us at a reasonable fee). The bathroom was a little snug, and there isn’t a ton of places to eat in town, but the hotel coordinated an affordable local cab. I would definitely stay here again!

We really liked the peace and quiet of this Quinta. We had a deluxe room which had a superb view of the village & vineyards. It had a balcony but no chairs for the balcony were provided which was a pity as we had super weather even though it was March. Sitting on the balcony would have been idyllic. Tea & coffee were provided as well as a small fridge. However it was only one coffee sachet, one decaf sachet and two teabags. The cups were so small that two sips & it was gone. The pillows were excellent, sometimes the quality of pillows let a room down. There is a swimming pool but it was very cold. However as the weather was so hot it would have been nice to have been able to sit around the pool but the few loungers were all broken and unusable. There was an upstairs terrace where you could relax with a pre dinner drink and take in the view. Breakfast was simple, no hot food but meats, cheese, cereals, yogurts and a few pastries. We had dinner and the menu was quite limited in choice. We had a curious mix of turkey twizzlers, tomato & mozzarella sticks, mushrooms, fruit, nuts & seeds presented on a board. A bottle of wine was very reasonably priced. Ours was 13 euros. There is only one restaurant in the village and you have to book in advance. They were only doing lunches when we enquired. Other than that there are two small cafe/bars. This is a lovely place to stay if you want peace & quiet. Only noise was the the birds and church bells which we loved.

Perfect location to have an overnight stay slightly away from the hustle and tourists in Pinhao. This ‘country’ hotel is situated in a quaint little village, has breathtaking views of the D’ouro valley, the staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable and ‘fresh’ and clean. Beautiful pool area - bring your swimsuit.

L'hôtel est au calme à l'extérieur de la ville . Il domine la ville et la vallée en offrant un point de vue magnifique . L'accueil est souriant , le service est attentif et efficace . C'est un vrai plaisir de prendre un verre le soir à l'extérieur tout comme le petit déjeuner . Les chambres sont agréables . Le nombre de chambre n'étant pas très important il faut réserver ; cela permet également de choisir l'exposition de la chambre . Lors de notre séjour quelques chambres solo étaient en cours de finition . Nous expérimenterons lors de notre prochain séjour .
