Our hosts Gaetano and Antonella were phenomenal throughout our stay! They guided us throughout the beautiful beaches, showed us around the city and helped us along every step of the way! They recommended restaurants for us, they helped us for our smooth check in and overall made our stay in Praia a Mare amazing. The rooms were very tidy, clean and immersive. Bathrooms were very clean and common areas were kept clean as well. Breakfast provided by our hosts were typical Italian colazione and fills you up to start your day! If you are to travel to northern Calabria, I would 100% recommend staying here as not only is the place beautiful and close to the sea, but our hosts made it an experience to remember!!! Thank you very much for everything! We will be back! That’s for sure!

The welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts Gaetano and Antonella are what made my stay memorable. This is my second time that I have stayed here and am planning a third . The rooms are very comfortable and have everything that one might need . Well situated with easy walk to food beautiful beaches and shops . I would highly recommend a stay here .

We really enjoyed our stay at Al Vecchio Pioppo. Gaetano went out of his way to welcome us and make us feel at home. The room was charming and comfortable, and it was a short walk to the beach. Gaetano suggested a boat ride around the area which we very much enjoyed. We always prefer staying in small charming places as opposed to large impersonal hotels, and this hit the mark. If I were to rettò Praia a Mare, I would definitely choose this welcoming place.

Great B&B, gaetano and his family where amazing.Great breakfast,beds where comfortable, walking distance to the beach. Lots of activities to do at night.I would really recommend the B&B to anyone that goes to praia a mare.

Siamo stati molto bene, accolti con gentilezza dal Sig. Gaetano, che ci ha dato tante dritte per il ns soggiorno in Calabria.. Colazione buona e parcheggio sul posto, Vicino spiaggia e isola di Dino molto caratteristica Pulizia e igiene top

Alloggiare al vecchio pioppo e come stare a casa. Questa struttura racconta una storia solo visitandola, da lì si avverte la sensazione di tranquillità di relax, il fresco profumo di pulito, la grazia delle camere illuminate e ben arredate con tanto lavoro e passione del proprietario il signor. Gaetano. Sempre pronto ad accoglierti con il sorriso e disponibile nei suoi consigli. La colazione con ottimi croissant e graziosi i cestini a tavola con miele, marmellate, nutella e tanto altro. Posto centralissimo nel viale di Praia a mare con facilità di parcheggio. Vicinissimo al mare raggiungibile in 5 min. Lo straconsiglio!! Patrizia ☺️
