펜션 유 릴리(Pension U Lilie)

Nice, friendly staff, in need of some TLC. Great location - good breakfast. Room very plain and no safe which I found odd. Shower could work better but the bathroom was very toasty which was nice. Being redecorated in areas after we leave as last guests from the weekend.

The good: Location is excellent, a few minutes on foot from Charles Bridge. Relatively quiet at night despite the central location. The moderate: The single room upstairs where I stayed (room 19 on the photo) is barebones, under the roof with hardly enough height to stand. Its up a very narrow stairs, nothing you want to walk with luggage. Ok for sleeping (once in bed) but nothing else and being under the roof it's sweltering. The bathroom is fine and clean. The breakfast buffet is rather mediocre (cold eggs, some cold cuts, instant coffee, and a dry cake). The ugly: BEWARE, if you booked the price in Euro and have to pay in CZR (as I did via ***********), the Hotel will cheat you with the exchange rate and take some random round number (in my case about 4% above the actual rate, even after arguing with them for a while and getting a tiny reduction). Maybe not a big deal, but very unpleasant..

This used to be my favorite pension. It is still an excellent location but quite noisy. I got put on the 3rd floor so had to walk the last flight. Make sure you request not up there. Also, there was a hair dryer, but no outlet in the bathroom where the mirror was. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

Good location in Old Town. An older hotel with lots of steps and a tiny elevator. Cozy room, but good for price.

The beds were so comfortable it was a struggle to wake up in the mornings and the rooms were lovely and spacious with a good en suite shower room. The hotel has the friendliest of staff, always ready to help and speak good English. Breakfast was a lovely typical continental breakfast with more than enough to eat, fresh fruit and yogurt, cereals and bread with cheese and ham. Also unlimited tea/coffee and juices. This hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated and provides the perfect Prague experience.

The best location. I put on the door sign 'Do not disturb', but somebody went into my room...

Great location in oldtown Prague. Staff are helpful and very responsive.

While older building the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly. Decent light breakfast in AM was available. Only downside was being right in downtown area it was pretty noisy at night on streets outside (my room was street facing, so maybe this wouldn’t be the same for all rooms). For the price was very happy overall.

A comfortable place, friendly staff. As a solo traveller I have found this place adequate to my needs. Room was comfortable with en-suite bathroom and very clean will definitely stay here again.
