Hotel Casa Alpina Don Barra

Do NOT stay here. The manager is violent, rude & aggressive to guests & his staff. His waiters called him "mental". 2 waiters for 5 guests when we arrived, still 2 waiters for 70 guests over the weekend. The food is basic at best. Buffet often running out and not being replenished. Coffee machine not working, at times. Rock hard bread at every meal. Lights turn off whilst you're walking down the stairs. Fire call points are covered up. Corridor lights tripping the circuit breaker daily. All reported to manager but rarely rectified. No documented control of drinks with your meals. So bills were wrong. Trying to add extra days of tax onto guests bills when they clearly hadn't stayed that long. Can it get any worse? The manager was stopping guests on Sunday evening around 21.30 returning from the restaurant (leaving on Monday after breakfast) demanding we pay our bills. Manager stated nobody would be there on Monday so we had to pay NOW! Germans, Austrians and British. All lined up with his aggressive arms stopping you re-entering the hotel until you paid. He wanted cash payment (paid deposit by bank transfer and card) and was shouting aggressively demanding cash! Why all this fuss? After saying he wouldn't be there on Monday, he was! Manager physically shouting at his waiting staff within earshot of guests, during the evening meal service. How this hotel is in business is a mystery. None of my 12 guest party enjoyed the hotel. We all felt sorry for the staff and 100% will not be returning.

An unclean, cold and horrible hotel & the facilities within very tired. The receptionist (the owner ) was aggressive, unhelpful and very unprofessional. He verbally threatened a couple of our party when asking for assistance. Stay away!

HO TELEFONATO LA SERA PRIMA DI PARTIRE PER AVERE INFORMAZIONI E IN QUEL MOMENTO MI HANNO DETTO CHE ERANO CHIUSI PER LAVORI. LA PERSONA CHE MI HA RISPOSTO ERA MALEDUCATA, SACCENTE E SI È LIMITATO A DIRMI DI CHIEDERE UN RIMBORSO A ***********!!! VERGOGNOSO A DIRE POCO!!

First of all the beds were not made and there was mold in our room. The sockets didn’t work the cleaner came in our room and took the key and made us pay €50 even though it was on the desk didn’t make the beds properly. The hospitality was awful and aggressive behaviour towards our teachers was disgraceful. Food was rubbish a vegetarian got given vegetables. Beds where not comfortable was falling asleep on the ski slopes. Me and 5 other people were in a room together not enough space for 6 people. The manager had a room next door to us, at 12 am he was moving stuff around and kept Turing the shower on and off constantly. The end of the week the manager squared up to my teacher. And the way the manager treaded his staff was awful he would argue and hit them with frying pans in the middle of the night

Il peggior posto che potevo capitare cibo scarso di scarsa qualità , ricevuta fiscale assente, foglietto fasullo.oltre il danno anche la beffa. Ovviamente pos assente. Esperienza da non ripetere mai più.scosiglio vivamente a tutti se volete stare bene andate altrove.

Sono stato nel febbraio scorso a sciare sulle piste della via lattea ed ho prenotatop un camera all'hotel casalpina don barra. Ottimo albergo e gran bella camera.buona la cucina e l'accoglienza.skubus proprio vicino all'ingresso dell'hoel. credo che ritornero.ottima esperienza.
