We came hare as a last stop the Bolivian altiplano. From outside it is not so gorgeous but the location is very nice. Inside it’s totally different. The rooms are curved out of caves. There is plenty of warm water, WiFi and other comfort. Food was really locally made and delicious. The staffs are very polite. We would like to stay a day more but we had our flight back to India. I shall remember staying here.

Great little home style hotel. Stayed here one night only in a twin room which was nicely decorated in earthy colours. Plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, hearty food and very obliging staff. Interesting to see how rock formations formed part of the hotel structure. Please note they do not take credit cards.

The hotel is in a fascinating location being built into the rock face. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms engaging and different but finished to a high standard. The stand out thing however was the food offered in the restaurant. When we were there we experienced an experimental four course menu that was intelligently and thoughtfully presented with a certain humble flair. Classy rather than showy. The amuse bouche of cooked corn kernels with a spice lime to add to them, activated one’s taste buds very well. This was followed by Llama tartar elegantly seasoned and served as a one/two bite serving in a cracker. The main was an original take on a green risotto with chicken which was delicious. The dessert was a maize mousse served with some Llama’s milk hard cheese. The whole meal was a triumph and utterly unexpected.

Set in a beautiful location, the hotel offers a pleasant common area for guest interaction. The rooms are small, and the food is simple but acceptable. The main drawback is the water heating: despite the hotel’s claim of “hot” water, it was only lukewarm, which is uncomfortable in the cold nights of the region. Overall, this is probably the best option in the area, though it falls short of being an excellent hotel

Very disappointed. Tiny rooms with openings so small I hit my head twice on the door just trying to go to the bathroom. The bathroom fixtures were wobbly, and the ventilation poor. The internet was dropped repeatedly and the food was too basic even by standards of remote hotels in Bolivia.

We were impressed by its friendly atmosphere and excellent service. While the rooms are basic, they are clean and comfortable, providing everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, adding a personal touch to the experience.
