Partner and I stayed at Casa da Companhia for a week - it was one of the best hotel experiences of our lives! From check-in to the attentive breakfast service and continuing through check-out, we were thrilled by the warmth and quality of service of the staff. Recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, and a day tour of Douro were all top-notch, and we'll be passing them onto our friends who follow us. Location is on Rue das Flores - a pedestrian-access only street. If you have significant mobility concerns, I would recommend reaching out ahead of time to the hotel to coordinate your arrival transportation. Location cannot be beat - we walked everywhere and were very happy with our access to a number of sights, restaurants, the waterfront, etc. There was a minor hiccup (no fault of the hotel) regarding another guest on our floor who was smoking in their room. The smell subsequently made its way into our room via the ventilation system. Before leaving for a dinner, we notified the front desk and they took immediate action, assessing the smell in our room. Upon our return that evening, they offered to place us in another room overnight, if the smoke smell persisted. When we returned to our room, the smell had dissipated and we declined the extra room - but we greatly appreciated their responsiveness and offer of alternative accommodations. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. I enjoyed the dry sauna and indoor pool on a rainy day and found both to be very well-maintained. We'll be recommending this hotel to our friends and family and are looking forward to returning to Porto and Casa da Companhia.

We stayed in the Wine and Books Hotel for Seven nights .The Hotel should be rated 7* .We have travelled worldwide and this is by far the best Hotel we have stayed in .The staff are very special , working as an excellent team to make us feel at home. Special thanks to Camilla and Soraia on the front desk and to the food and beverage manager and all the restaurant and housekeeping staff for excellent Service which went above and beyond what we expected...Nothing is too much trouble for this excellent team. Stayed at Premium downtown for 5 nights. This is a small hotel in a very quiet location but found the hotel to be extremely clean.all areas from reception/ rooms/Restaurant were spotless. Stayed 4 nights upon arriving in Porto. For a 3 star hotel the property is very clean and quiet. Check in was easy. Rooms are clean and offer a closet with a safe, a kettle and tea/coffee service, a small fridge that is stocked but still room to put a beer, wine bottle or water bottle in to chill. Several outlets but no usb ports. Bathroom has a bidet. Shower had good water pressure. It’s actually a tub/shower combination. Only thing missing was wash cloth. Didn’t get one in either of my Portugal hotels. The breakfast is outstanding, Starts at 7. Several options from eggs to pancakes, side dishes, so many fresh breads, cereal, fancy coffee machine, fresh juices. There is also a bar at the hotel but we didn’t visit it. Next door is a 3 store mall with a full service American size grocery store to buy water, snacks, wine etc. at very affordable prices. One block away is the Mercado Bom Success, an upscale food court. We ate dinner there twice. The hotel is in an area called Villa Nova so a 30 to 40 minute walk from the historical center. The metro is 10 to 15 minutes away, Casa de Musical stop, which will take you to the historical center in 15 minutes. I would stay here again if ever in Porto.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Porto for 2 nights recently as part of a work trip. The hotel is in a good location, about 10 mins drive from the airport. There are a few small shops and bars / restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice, a great size and come with all the usual amenities that you'd expect from such a hotel. I ate in the bar on each night, the food was great and very good value for money. The service provided by the 2 bartenders was also great! I'll be back again in early summer and would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel in Porto.

This hotel is incredibly well located, right beside the stunning Clerigos church, within a very short walking distance of Porto’s cathedral (Se), Sao Bento station, Lello bookshop and so many other of the city’s top attractions. Despite its fantastic location, the narrow streets in front of and beside it are very quiet, with hardly any cars going by. I was impressed by how clean the spaces were, I could see my own reflection on the walls and the floor! The staff was also extremely nice and friendly. I loved the fact that a basic but very good breakfast is included in their very reasonable price. Throughout the day, you can also help yourself at any time to a very tasty coffee, some fruit and even some housemade typical Porto wine, which shows that they make an extra effort to make you feel at home. Of course, given how much money you save by staying there, you can’t expect any kind of extra luxury. For example, some of the doors’ and drawers’ handles were loose, a few elements were a bit old and the room was quite small, even though it was also very clean, with a very comfortable bed. Obviously, those minor details didn’t undermine in any way the positive overall impression I had of the establishment. I really recommend it to all those looking for a clean, comfortable, charming and well-located place to stay. Just be aware that you obviously won’t get any extra glamour with it, which you shouldn’t expect anyway, given their great prices. I can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is on a walking pedestrian street. The cabs can come in to drop you off but most of the time there are not any cars on the street! We had a room with a small balcony (not sitting, just standing) but you could watch the people on the street below. The room was nice, the people were great and the area was perfect. We took a wine tour and the meeting place was a very short (5 minutes) walk from the hotel. There were lots of restaurants and cafes and shops in the area. We would stay here again!

훌륭한 직원이있는 오래된 건물에 매력적인 부티크 호텔입니다. 사실 유럽, 멕시코 또는 남아메리카를 여행 한 어느 곳에서나 친근하거나 도움이되는 호텔 직원을 만난 적이 없습니다. 사라, 카타리나, 폴라 등 여러 언어를 사용하며 요청을 돕고, 추천을 하며, 앉아서 채팅을 하게 된 3명의 여성 모두 기뻤다. 객실은 깨끗하고 침대도 편안하고 조식 뷔페도 아주 좋았습니다. 사람들이 밤에 체크인 할 때 계단 위의 1 층의 방은 약간 시끄 럽습니다. 그러나 이것은 우리가 거기에 머물렀던 며칠 동안 우리가 만난 유일한 부정적인 것입니다. 멋진 곳이며, 포르투에 다시 가면 꼭 다시 거기에 머무를 것입니다.
